Thanks for the input. I'm an American, but been living in Europe for over a decade due to family (my young children), decided to drive big rig to feed my children & pay the bills. But, man, the language barrier is a HUGE hurdle here! Failed my theory 2x, it cost around $250 for each retake! Decided to find someone teaching about the mechanics in English and stumbled upon this channel. Now I can see where I misunderstood what was taught in the classroom. The mechanics are exactly the same. Glad to hear that you've succeeded, my friend. You're an owner operator?

2022 I passed the CDL Test . Thanks to this video and all the others .
Brakes and Combo's in maybe 15 min's with 3 mistakes all together .
General knowledge with only 2 mistakes maybe 15 min's. Thanks Allot .
But might I add ; I wrote down every important point . And then rewrote it , so it looked better on paper.
Read it and re'read it multiple time's , Listen to the video's on replay like it was my favorite song .
Driving ,Cooking, Washing dishes , Taking a dump . While reading the lyrics I wrote .
Did 3 0r 4 different types of Practice test because you never know how the Question's will be arranged on the actual test.
Patiently read the questions don't panic. And you can pass this test and be on to the next step to your goal.
Go early in the morning . I was the Very first person ,
I was standing at the door when they got there ; Listening to this doing practice test on my phone .
Knowing I was going to blow this test away. And I did Sooooo'''HAPPY New Years MF'sssss( I passed it on the 29 Dec.)

I studied this video over and over. I passed on my first try. The thought of taking a CDL test to drive a school bus is very intimidating. However, I was so prepared for taking the test. REMEMBER in Illinois you can skip some of the questions, but may have to come back to them, if you skip to many. Sir thank you so much for your videos. I passed the General Knowledge, Passenger and Air brakes. I just wished you had a video for the School Bus part. Thanks you very much, and God bless.

  • @doylee469

If you want to pass any endorsement my advise would be to read thru that section. Then read thru it again and take written notes on parts you know you will struggle to remember. Put those notes in your own words, dont just copy them word for word out of the cdl pamphlet. As you memorize your notes, quiz yourself over and over. You will have this material to read, and read it right up until the last min before your test. Just remember, you can skim read this section and get lucky, or read the whole section word for word and read your notes. Knowing the whole section will make schooling much easier. You dont want the instructer to have to desribe parts and whatnot to you while youre at school, it will take away driving time and affect your confidence. Btw this vid is a huuge help.. play it over and over again.. and like your fave movie, memorize the words thats going to come out of his mouth before he even says it. Satisfaction guaranteed! Laziness in studying will reflect your laziness on the road. And your career will suffer. Lots of money to be made in this industry. Have a great day folks!

This video helped my quite a bit. I just finished 1 week of in class training and was still a bit confused about brakes. Why doesn't anyone simplify it? Knobs out = spring brakes on; release Knobs in = Service brakes.
These brakes are counter intuitive; charging the system to "release" the brakes.
Thanks for the video I got it now.

Taking my Airbreaks exam today. Still need my combination test passed before I get to start practicing behind the wheel. I planned to be completed by the middle of the day with the both. But unfortunately, I was a little short for gas expenses while taking the two tests. I barely have enough to finish both test and finish by 4pm instead of 12pm. This is with only enough gas money to get to class tomorrow and maybe the next day.
With God's speed 🙏 the two tests will be finished today and passed. For one I don't have any money or time to waste.

Can any experienced truckers tell me why you would want to lock the wheels up in braking? It seems like locking up the wheels is something you would never want to happen. Also, how would you know they are about to lock up?? Thanks and safe travels.

Sustainable loss of air pressure is due to leaking grommets on the glad hands...or also airbag leakage!
