I will visit Nigeria very soon. I found out through my ancestry kit that I purchased in 2019 that I am a descendant of Nigeria. My Nigerian friends shared it with me that they saw my features in my face that I was Nigerian before I knew it myself. We must know who we are. Remember you are not black. Black is a color, not an ethnicity. We must know and respect our Ethnicity!

This documentary was incredibly powerful, and I will never forget this particular telling of the story of Black people. I felt every moment deeply, from start to finish. As an empath, I am profoundly moved and changed by the energetic message of my ancestors told through the MBN network. Thank you, Dr. Reid.

A very well produced video, of a story & a history that needs to be told again & again. A story & a history approached with the right attitude & just enough context as time would allow … & brought all the way to today.
Each facet also connected with each individual narrator of his/her own personal experience of that hallowed ground of the ancestors who preceded us. Thank You.

I wish every black person in the diaspora will come back to the mother land to reconnect to their ancestors and also experience all this and know the truth.

This documentary must win several awards. My face and pillow are wet with tears.
I remember when 45 called the continent of Africa “shithole” juxtaposed with the experiences shown thru the tour. Idk how we can let his words and sentiments stand while honoring our ancestors.

He never said that, it was alleged by Democrats. There is no video or audio of him anywhere saying that.

@ there wouldn’t be audio or video of a conversation between him and members of Congress discussing an immigration bill - which is where this was said. The WH didn’t deny it or respond to representatives of several countries who condemned it. Congress-people on both sides also condemned it. Further, the statement was on brand for him and consistent w/ his characterization of certain people. You can believe it wasn’t said but **in my 50 cent voice** he said that $hit.

This was heart-wrenching to watch, I got 💔 so emotional watching this. The only way to know or find out the truth is to visit the continent, especially Ghana. Thanks for sharing this great adventure. Really break my heart.💔 Thank you, thank you.
