Well.. I'm still cool with my ex's and friends with them on FB. I encouraged them to be the best version of themselves. Even though, we didn't work out in the past it was just an experience for the both of us to grow and come to a maturity level in the things what we don't want in a man or a woman. Some lessons and experiences I had in my past relationship just helped me to learn to forgive ppl because we all have a past, dealt with so many different issues and many don't know how to heal from those things. I was with a guy for 4 years we were serious talking marriage. He wanted us to get married a year and half before I finished. university. I asked him can we wait a year so I am done so I don’t have to deal with the stress of wedding, plus imagine I fell pregnant would make everything difficult. My dad refused the marriage as he wanted me to finish uni. My dad loved the guy and he was so immersed in my family. My dad gave the dude such a hard time we ended breaking up. I focused on my final year got first class honours degree which I am proud of. Anyways after we broke up he got married after 2 months and my dad and brothers decided to go to his wedding. I was too stressed doing my final year to even care but my feelings were hurt that my family decided to go to his wedding 😂😂😂. I met my husband 3 months before graduation and decided to get married 4 months after my graduation. That was 10 years ago. Married with 3 kids and blessed with a loving caring man who supports my growth. I wouldn’t do what my family decided to do showing up to an ex wedding in such a short period 😂😂

They are judging the person based on looks, financial status, job title, fashion sense, etc. You can’t really figure out who a person is using just social media. So they are basically trying to make themselves feel better. But then again, I can get a sense of who Jeannie’s ex’s new woman is because of all of those messages she wrote about Jeannie on social media. That does make me think she’s a little wack. But still, maybe she’s a really sweet girl. Who knows!

I’m with Adrienne. I have an X that I grew up with and we were really good friends before we dated but now I see him as like a cousin because he’s such a good time & all we do is laugh when we’re together but I just don’t have any feelings for him. My husbands family invited one of his ex's to a BBQ🤦 I found out through the FB event invite list and was like ugh. Then his other ex goes to our church and still friends with several family members or mutual friends. They haunt me everywhere! Lol. He has never had to deal with any of mine though.

I am friends with my exes. I like to see how they are doing. I want to see them shine and I know they want it for me. I still wish them happy birthday or happy anniversary. I have donated to one of their fundraisers.
They were great men, but not the one for me. A couple of them are married to cool ladies and built beautiful families. One is a pastor. I pray for his church. His wife doesn't care for me, but I will pray for her family. He had a health scare and I wish him well. My other ex had surgery and I checked in on him weekly. If you can cordial or friendly with an ex, you can follow them on social media.
