- Hellmire and Nuke Nursery together is brutal. Made for a good time though. Took about 4 hours to do. Able to get the egg from the mega nest and steve at the end. I feel like I usually am able to have some downtime on missions but this one I wasn't mainly able to.

I’m actually a big fan of the post-production text narration - million times more engaging than the typical live commentary drivel like takibo who manages to say absolutely nothing of note for half an hour
I do agree with this! I do like live commentary cuz it's more funny than anything else
But it's hard to talk 40 minutes straight with good info that it makes it sometimes meh l
oh for me I really like something like Takibos videos cus I often just listen the gameplay in the background while doing something else, these types of non commentary videos are fine as well but I like it when there's atleast abit of it
@xunzhe1559 that is true though, there is merit to the commentary, like you can just listen to it like radio in the back ground and don't have to really focus on it
He does really well too, he's able to just casually talk and make it entertaining
I'm thinking about doing both commentary with subs on the bottom, just have to find a way to not make it super convoluted

I learned something about the supply pack from your video, its added Stims to your inventory when you picked up supply to refill the supplies pack, and then you can use it again from the supply pack, its almost a double supply,

Yes, to make the most out of stims, I always use a stim and then pick up a supply from the supply pod which adds to both my inventory and the supply pack, so you'll always see me use a stim before picking one up out of habit
When you are in squads to make the most out of the supply pack, if everyone's together, you dont just pick up all the supply pod to refill the back pack, you'll pick up 1 supply from the supply pod and then drop the back pack and hand it over to the next guy, they then pick it up and get a supply pod with the back pack on and then drop it and hand it to the next guy. That is the best way to get as many supplies as you can using the supply pack.
This was beautiful. That video not only reenforced the idea of some of my tactics, it also taught me some things I should try out.

Telling myself "I only have 1 life" when I'm playing used to be super nerve racking also. Now it adds to the fun/challenge
Excellent run. I wouldn't come close to trying it, but if I did, getting those super samples would've jinxed it for me.

Ingenius strat. I wouldnt have thought of spamming stuns with the supply pack ro collect bugs at a single point then 500kging them all

I do think sadly here though that it was a bad pick
There was so many hunters and pouncers that get so close the grenade launcher just becomes a "I might die if I use that" if enemies are able to close the gap of 10meters quickly. So I couldn't use it as effectively as I wanted here.
Also, I think explosive damage has changed and I need to test it out
The bile titan with the broken shoulder didn't die when I was shooting at it and I'm not sure if I just needed to shoot it better or if it doesn't go down anymore

I will see what I can do! Since the commentary is actually very light within the texts
I have 4 second intervals and I might need to up it to 5 second intervals
I could do a calm voice over instead for certain areas, I'll have to think about how to go about it, without convoluting too much information at once

I think u dont need the Grenade Launcher use ur secondary in replace it

I could use the grenade pistol and use eagle air or precision strike or even napalm
I was having trouble with chargers in the beginning while doing this and it was helping then but this run it was a waste of strategem

Do you find it easier to extract at higher lvls doing it this way and timing when it will show up after time runs out then calling it in and having to defend the spot? I think past lvl 7 I've only managed to evac once in a solo game
Sadly yes, especially after destroying the whole map
Patrols spawn more, the more objectives you do
They will spawn I believe 150 to 180 meters away and start walking towards you
If you are on extract they will already start heading towards your way, and if you have done the extract terminal the heat gets even higher and more spawn and just shoot your direction
I have been behind walls hiding and it's like they know where I am
If I have like 10 minutes left or so I will try to extract but if I have like 3 minutes left, I would rather just run around to not risk that extract heat
Oh! Tidbit though, even if destroying hives makes patrols spawn more, it will make it so that they won't spawn from every direction
You can actually tell where I nest is if you see enemies spawn in that direction
If you kill all the nests on the map, the enemies will only be able to spawn from the edges of the map so you'll know where they are coming from

Great commentary! I learned some good tips and liked not listening to an annoying streamer voice.
Glad you liked it! I realized it's hard sometimes to comment useful information on a 40 minute run, and I also get voice fatigue when listening to someone continuously talk the whole run unless it's really calm/far and in-between.

You mean like when the nuke is in the nest and I am looping back to hit the button?
I think he is talking about the nests surrounding the nuke
But they get taken out with the nuke
@ramyattar8521 OH YEAH THAT MAKES SENSE, I have noticed they don't spawn anything. I never see any enemies come out of them. So I stopped taking them out
