So true, the most fantastic time watching Pompey. In over fifty years of watching the blues this was without doubt the best, plus I had £25 each way on Pompey at 28/1 to win the 2008 FACup. Manchester United away was SO GOOD, will never forget it
Greatest Pompey manager ever. Harry. My godfather Keith’s brother was in hospital after he fell out of a tree and eventually died but was given a team photo of when they won the league in 1949 and Montgomery Field Marshall (Chairman/Owner at the time) never signed autographs, but he did sign the photo and it was in blue pen, Keith was fortunate enough to see the lift the cup, he passed on his ticket and flag to me when he noticed I knew a lot about Pompey than he thought. He is at peace now, Play up Pompey!
What does it for me is that the day before he left he was on sentana sports saying he was portsmouth till I die then left for spurs the next day. Other then that my generation saw the best team, games and atmosphere Blue army
Harry came across as quite genuine until he said he didn't know the club was going to the wall when he left for spurs. He knew full well which is why he jumped. And then came back for Kaboul and Krancjar on next to nothing offers too. Good old Redknapp still playing the innocence card...

@leslie graham i don't really have a problem with him fleeing a sinking ship. The problem's with him feigning naivety, acting like he didn't know what was coming, because let's face it- we all know that's bollocks, I could see what was happening and I was about 11 years old 😂
