this Portsmouth team was such a random mix of legendary players - Campbell, James, Baros, Distin, Kanu, Krancjar, Diop, Lauren, Johnson, Hreidarsson... such a strange team, but I loved that era of Portsmouth

This fa cup was just mental, memorable one for us Barnsley too beating Liverpool at Anfield and Chelsea at Oakwell, then unfortunately losing at Wembley to Cardiff in the semis.

Times when video streaming games from average teams, was scarce. Used to listen to live commentary through Portsmouth radio. Became a fan because of Sulley Muntari, being 🇬🇭 myself. Harry Redknapp was at peak wheeler dealing looking at all the players he got

What a great FA Cup run that was in 2008. It certainly was a great time to be a Pompey fan, I mean, we beat Manchester United in their own back yard. That Sulley Muntari penalty. I believe that was the moment we won the FA Cup. With the squad we had those games against West Brom and Cardiff were never in doubt. Those great days are now gone sadly but they will return to Fratton Park. These are difficult times for everyone at the moment, but hopefully the current season can resume and be completed. It would be great if Pompey can get promoted this season and if it has to be done behind closed doors then so be it. If we go up, even if it is without fans in attendance, I'll still be happy. Play Up Pompey. 🔵⚪🔵
