To order the yarn for the Easy Moss Stitch Baby Blanket you will need 3 skeins of the Premier Puzzle yarn in the color 1050-50 Fresh Bloom if making the afghan larger you will need to buy more yarn.
you will also need a size L-11 (8 mm) crochet hook.

Seems like the stitch marker only needs to mark the right corner, right? So it wouldn’t really have to be moved every row as long as it’s at the right corner, right? Am I missing something? Seems easier to leave it stay put.

When I crochet this pattern the center square always looks crooked. Is there anyway to correct that?
use a bigger hook!
or if you are using different colors make sure to start in different spaces (not where you joined the last round)
I have also seen people flip their squares after joining and starting a new round

Absolutely. You can either do it row by row or add a set of double crochet to opposites sides of your starting circle.

I did not color control I just attached the new skein and kept on going.
Does this stay square? When I make a square afghan, I've always turned my work front to back each row to counteract the "swirl" that occurs when I crochet on one side only. Thanks.
I have that problem too...even with C2C. So far this hasn't done that. I'm loving it.
Mine totally started to swirl. For this project I am not all stressed about it, as I was just making a little lovie blankie for a 5yr old for her favorite baby doll. But I would be grrrrr if I was making something full sized.

Creative grandma need to find out how to crochet granny square without it moving on me I need to be able to go over this with different ways because I’m not able to hold the yard so the granny square won’t move. Can you give me a suggestio?
How do you keep the blanket from looking twisted? Some other tutorials recommend turning your work but I don't know how
