I intend to change only that plastic silver left part of the wheel, and replace it with the one that has controls. Do you think it would work out, considering that my steering wheel was not intended for it? Thanks.

this model you can upgrade with steering control without any problem? you response will be be highly appreciated
Did you end up replacing the clockspring?.
I ended up having to replace the clockspring and now it needs to be reset with a computer? Could you maybe let me know how to do that?
