Latoya has to let her husband go through his changes and that even means taking the back seat and not to take his anger personal. Sons are closer to their Mothers. His heart is hurting and with hurt there is pain then anger. Only God can heal that hurt. Because it can affect the relationship. Prayer is definitely good for your relationship. God Bless you
Sons are no closer to mothers than a daughter. Every relationship is different, also everyone reacts to sadness different. But he does need the skills to understand how to redirect that energy and not take it out on his family. Or harbor it. And counseling would help with that.
Vanisha Neal Grief affects people in different ways. She needs to allow him to grief in his way. He obviously was very close to his mom. You don’t know how it feels until it happens to you. It just takes time and in the beginning your emotions are all over the place. His emotions will stabilize in time. Sometimes you just need to bestow mercy to a person as they process the loss.

Watching this brought some emotions that I feel from losing my mother almost 7 months ago and I will have to celebrate my 1st bday without her in 15 days not looking forward to it. Sending my prayers to this family. #motherlesschild
I lost my Mom over 20 years ago and I can tell you it will not be easy, However try to remember all the funny and good times with her. It also helps to cry and let it all out, just know that she is watching over you guiding and protecting you ALWAYS‼🙏💝

@@mariemarlene7658 I lost mine in 2011 that's how I cope I remember the happy moments from my childhood and the news that I was giving her a grand 👶 when I used to tell her I wasn't having any babies lol she has 7 grandkids total from all of her kids.
I understand that pain. I just got through the first birthday of my mom's without her alive and I spent it paying my respects to her at the gravesite. It was surreal. I miss my bestie. But I feel like she's watching over me now. Love that woman with all of my heart ❤ until I see her again. If you're a believer, just remember we will see them again. Stay blessed. Yes, she did her best to uplift her hubby and she is on it about grief counseling. Some men find it hard to express themselves emotionally they in turn may act out or look for a release elsewhere which could bring problems into their marrying. Wives can be there in many ways, but in areas like these it will take a professional to help him through these feelings so he can better learn how to cope. That is what their profession is grief counselor to aid one through the grief. Keep praying and supporting your man Letoya.

Your mom will always be with you. I really feel when he loss his mom it hurt a part of his heart that just couldn't be mended. I know how strong my love is as a mom but not even the death of my physical body will keep me from my child. I know his mom will always be with him.

Sorry to hear about his lost. I am going through the same situation in my marriage. My husband lost his mother a month ago now. I don't know how to care for him in this situation. I'm not sure if I'm doing to little or just enough. I know that I can't tell him how to grief because, deaf takes time and people grief differently. It's a bumpy road this year so far for us. So I can relate to how she feels. Just keep praying and asking God to direct your steps. Peace

Losing a parent is a hurt that will never heal unfortunately. But it will get better with time. I lost my mom 18 years ago to Breast Cancer and it still hurts. Although it hurt me and my sisters, my eldest brother took it way harder than any of and shut down completely for weeks. His wife just loved him through it. I can see that Toya is doing that. 💕💕💕

That's a myth. Men deal with the same type of stress, sadness, anger, and the sort but yes it does varies from person to person. It's definitely not a man vs. woman unless it's hormones then yes men take the backseat on that against a woman because they have none.
Poor Letoya. You can tell she's trying everything she can to support her husband and keep him engaged so that he doesn't check out. And poor Tommi. Its hard to lose a loved one. Praying for them and their family.
Sometimes you can over help..grief is such a personal and individual thing. He may be snappy because she might be in the way with help. Let him ask you for help.
