Hello, I haven’t played TFC for a long-long time, but still remember some tips, that you may find useful: 1) Mark all the ores you find in the area, there is a huge chance, that in the geometrical center of it will be an ore cluster. Using this method will help you to avoid false trails to the ore 2) While leveling agriculture skills you have a chance to dupe seeds from the crop 3) Make sluices if they are still in the mod, it makes finding the components to your bronze much easier
TFC is a fantastic mod and it's great to see more series of it on TH-cam. It has issues with end game goals, but adding in a mod like Create is great for adding to it's longevity. I hope you have a good run.
I'd love to see you playing this as well. So far it was a great experience. I already recorded a couple episodes. I have plenty of ideas for endgame as well.
I think it would also be interesting if DesktopFolder made a video about it, I imagine there's probably so many more ways to break bedrock with the Create mod that people haven't explored yet!

Very similar to Vintage Story! I've played that game a lot and have read that it is inspired by TFC, but I haven't seen TFC gameplay before so I definitely see the similarities now.

I am beyond hyped for this series. TFC is a classic; Spumwack/TMM did a series on it ages ago. The joke was always TechnicFirmaCraft; trying to find a way to combine two heavily conflicting and diametrically opposed mods to extend both the early game progression and the late game progression. I can't think of a better person to do this sort of thing for real!

I've not watched the video yet, so currently commenting just based on my hyped expectations! :D I remember Etho had a really nice series about TFC that was really good. It will be interesting to see how automation combines with TFC, when TFC focuses so much on tedious manual labor/adventuring/crafting. I'm slightly worried that the Create mod will take away from the experience by simplifying too much - but I'm hoping this will prove me wrong.

I don’t know if you plan to 100% the pack but Etho’s TerrafirmaPunk ended prematurely because the pack was broken with bugs and he couldn’t make certain endgame recipes. It was a sad day when he revealed he wasn’t continuing it. Seeing that this is in 1.18 I can’t imagine that will be a problem for you. and I’m excited for the it to get the Ilmango treatment!

no way. I literally just started playing atfc last week and I definitely didn't expect to see any youtube creators playing it. but I have to say, I was actually disappointed that winter wasn't much more challenging than summer. I couldn't grow crops, but I had so few seeds that they weren't my main food source anyway, and it snowed but the cold didn't seem to have any effect on my character. so I manually installed the tfc ambientals mod to make the temperature actually mean something :3
I literally just shook my roommate awake to tell him this came out. We’ve had a Greg Tech New Horizons + TFC server up for a few months now and I’ve Im so happy you picked the mod back up, it seriously deserves the attention
