      This is something new with the previous update (steam and trains) you could not cover gears before that. And I love the new gear box set up. It looks so cool. Like an actual engine. Still prefer Rot. Speed Controllers just due to size and shape. But the gear box in a decorative case (or 2 side by side) is one of my favorite central pieces or under floor showings. The gears getting faster as you step over them and run into the main power line.

    Worthy note about bulk smelting. (Unless I'm wrong since I haven't gotten to play the newest version of Create in survival that much yet.) It is the only one of the bulk operations that will destroy the resulting items if they aren't picked up after they are smelted due to bulk smelting destroying any items that don't have anything to smelt into.
    Related fun fact: Smelting cobblestone into stone is the exception since it can be further smelted into smooth stone, which while not great at least returns something, assuming you don't wait longer, allowing the smooth stone to be destroyed since that can be burned.

    For anyone struggling to get slime in early create saves, I would strongly recommend you look up the slime ball recipes in JEI before doing a slime chunk farm or finding a swamp.
    With Lime dye (green dye + white dye), and Dough (milled wheat flour and water in a mixer) you can make your own slime balls. This recipe absolutely saved my sanity after I tried for HOURS to get slimes to spawn in a slime chunk I hollowed out. This is a vanilla create recipe, so no additional create mods necessary.
    Green dye is as easy as finding a desert or any biome that produces Ferns and tossing them in the millstone.

      Dough is not a vanilla recipe...

      @@aggrocd1985 It's a create recipe though, which is what the video is about. Grind down wheat into flour, add the flour and a bucket of water to basin below a mixer, and you get dough, which can then be dyed to make slime.
      Definitely not vanilla, I agree, but the whole mod is not vanilla. People use "vanilla create" to refer to JUST the Create Mod with no submods (of which there are hundreds)

    For someone who is brand new to this mod and is looking in tutorials before trying it out. one of the important things that is missing from the beginning is how to make the andesite alloy. I googled it and know now that it's made with andesite and zinc. I tried 45 degree belts to move items and those work too so no need to have fan chutes every time you need to go up a few blocks

    As you can see, Create looks like a litlle bit difficult to learn. But if you're intereted in creating automatic machine, it must is good for you

  • @wun_zee3599

    it'd be cool if there were a companion mod for create (which could be used independently if so desired) where you can use smaller versions of each part to build custom mechanical tools that you can wield, rather than only making machinery lol

    By the way, Rubidium has had a lot of issues in 1.20. If you're playing on forge and notice issues, try using Embeddium instead. Or you could play on Fabric and use Sodium.

    Nice video.
    I'd like to see one where you work with lava. How to automate it to use in recipes. Such as the recipe with flint, gravel and lava that makes andesite.
    I have a cobblestone generator that crushes it into gravel and washes it into flint, so if I can get a lava source and somehow transfer it into a basin, then it could get smashed into andesite.

    • @MrBulbo-oz1es
      @MrBulbo-oz1es ปีที่แล้ว

      Pointed drip stone under lava with cauldrons underneath will make a renewable source of lava, you can just pipe it from the cauldrons at that point. Scale it up as needed.

    • @trueblueflare
      @trueblueflare ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrBulbo-oz1es Yes but that's the boring solution, way cooler to have a train carrying lava pumped from the nether
