The Mini 4 has Precision Landing but, for it to properly function, you have to lift off with the Auto takeoff, then climb to at least 7 meters above the Home Point & hover for a few seconds. That gives it time to image the Home area. Not sure why they don't do this automatically?
Loved this video Simon, thank you for sharing. I'm in NW England and am still the proud owner of a Mavic Mini (1) and after seeing your video and a couple others, the features on this new drone are astonishing. I am greatly tempted to get one after saving up. As well as features and it's abilities, please could you also do an in-depth video with the new remote control and pairing, battery life, custom buttons etc. That would be fantastic, thank you Simon. @@SimonsDrones I've got to wait 1-2 weeks for a refund. Won't be using amazon again for anything expensive. The drivers know it's something expensive when an emailed password is required
@@neilbirkinshaw818 Sorry man, I understand that would be a stressful thing. I have had a few things go wrong with Amazon, but they've always put it right in the end. Hopefully, your refund hits sooner rather than later.
Fun video, Simon. I really appreciate your channel, not being one of those deceiving TH-camrs publishing "leaks" while they have been flying a pre production set for month before the official release date. You purchase your drone with your own money, and I believe you when you are happy or unhappy with the product. So that was a fun flight, but the flying characteristics is expected to be flawless, so I'm waiting for your video testing out the camera system. Again - Thank you.
Hi Simon would love to get the mini drone 4 pro but I'm still getting to grips with mini 3 pro and loving it...but as you say i think don't think it will be to long before the mini 5 comes out and I'm enjoying the mini 3 pro its good enough for me and for what I use it for ....but who knows never say never as they say Love the content of your videos keep them coming And all the best........
Thanks for your comment. Camera wise, they are very similar. But there are a number of upgrades over the Mini 3 Pro here and I look forward to testing them out.

How does it compare to the 3, my concern/question is now it has more sensors where have they cut the weight from to compensate
So I'm guessing 🤔 the mini 4 pro is nothing more than a mini 3 pro in a different shell 🐚
