My recommendation for all of these is to get them when they're on sale and ditch brand/shop loyalty (as long as the quality is as good elsewhere). It drastically reduces the cost, allowing for more clothes in your budget

A few pieces of advice to the budget conscious shopper:
    1. Haggar synthetic fabrics will last forever and they don't fade in color or get fuzzy. They are perfect for casual dress are also very nicely priced. Polos, button-ups, dress pants, casual pants, etc.
    2. Indochino is a great choice for suits, blazers, and formal dress shirts. (Being made to measure saves you to the cost and weird fit issues that come with tailoring a pre-made suit.)
    3. Get Allen Edmonds for your primary dress shoe/s, if you can afford it. You can spend more and you can spend less, but you won't get better shoes for less. You can also get matching belts from them.
    4. Anson Belt and Buckle or Kore Essentials belts are fantastic. (You can use either, but some of us will know which one we really need from one visit to their respective sites.)
    5. Gold Toe is a good standard for men's socks. Their casual socks last longer and perform better than Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, etc. Their dress socks are high quality and have a good variety of colors.
    6. Clark's shoes doesn't know an Oxford from a Derby, but their shoes are comfortable and can generally be had for around $50. They aren't up to par for formal attire, but they are great for a casual outfit.
    7. Most of these brands have regular sales, which will drastically effect the price. Wait for a major holiday or get on their mailing list for special offers.
    8. Remember that you can wear virtually ANY color shirt with black or gray trousers. If you start with black leathers, waiting to expand to brown and burgundy later, it will be easy to color match and wear different polos/button-ups with black or gray pants. Avoiding having to buy multiple leathers up front will save a substancial amount of money, initially.
All in all, if you are wearing an Indochino suit, Indochino dress shirt, Gold Toe dress socks, Anson dress belt, and Allen Edmonds shoes, you're doing well for Business formal attire with that oufit. Approximate Cost: $800.
If you are wearing Haggar Cool 18 Pro pants, Hagger polo, Gold Toe socks, Anson Belt, and Clark's Loafers, you'll be just fine for Business Casual attire. Approximate Cost: $150.

Watches : apart from Seiko , Orient, Casio, Citizen, look at microbrands with the movements NH 35 , or a Miyota. No need to spend more than US$ 300.Research on TH-cam.
For a more expensive watch, but less outlay, search for one used but sold by a reputable dealer.

I can get good suits for 50% off and good savings in dress pants dress shoes, shirts, ties, pocket squares, I check in with the sales people on what’s coming in so they can set stuff aside for me so I don’t have to rush in on sale day.

I've seen in your videos that you consider Oxford shoes to be the most formal, while double-monks are semi-formal. You also noted that patent leather should be reserved for black-tie events (so it's for very formal shoes)... I was wondering then the formality of patent leather monk strap shoes. I saw a few pairs of them on sale and was wondering what you make of their formality and versatility. On a budget, monk-straps seem a good way to go.

Take a look at Duluth Trading Company the non-grunt wear that a plant middle management or engineer at a job site might wear. The chinos, khaki pants, button-down shirts, presentation jacket, gentleman's casual jacket, wool cardigans, etc.
I have three different wardrobes based on Duluth. First my workwear for my night job and when I'm doing chores around the house. Next, my rugged casual when I'm out on the trails or just want to be dressed that way. Last my smart casual that has freedom of movement and but is rugged enough I could do yard work in but I don't. Along the lines of the smart casual should be able to handle whatever working with the little tikes throw at you.
Read the descriptions very carefully and notice what fit you are looking at. Their fits are a step larger than others and check to see if they have a store near you.

TIL that I'm in the "mid-range", with some luxury items. I don't wear a watch (it's a long story) so I save money there. I'm cheap, er frugal, so I plan out my dress clothing purchases in detail, plus I buy on sale when I can (which requires financial flexibility). I also buy stuff from Ebay or at yard sales / estate sales or thrift stores and I've gotten Brooks Brothers or Polo casual shirts for $1 (some 'new with tags'). I like to boast of how cheap I can be - in person I'll talk about the $1 scores, but won't mention the $135 Sunspel polo that I'm wearing...
I also look at the lifecycle of my clothing - I buy all-natural fabrics and when clothes start wearing out, I'll use them for mowing the yard or working on cars. Instead of throwing clothes away when they're worn out, I cut them up and compost them.

I asked on another channel and will probably ask a couple more but what is your take on Polyester are you not a fan of it either? I ask because I have a dark pair of modern khakis that are 87 Cotton and 13 Polyester not sure if I should give them away as they do fit rather well and are tailored just worried about the material having some Poly since I know it's not always a popular choice. Anyway truly love the content as always!

I am a very lazy person.
How about some companies in those price ranges?
It is always great to talk about dress shoes in the 100-150 $ range or suits for that matter... make it simple for me: name the companies.
Imagine me telling you about a microwave for around 100 $ with a couple of features and then telling you: i will not tell you which one you should get but they are out there! Try a thrift shop! ;)
When it comes to watches there seems to be - magically - more information? Funny, eh.
Imho: this video is imho just too...generic?
Btw. i do not care at all for the % in the summaries. Adds no value for me.
