Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for PC. The app lets you take control of the speed of our cycling videos and provides a much better indoor cycling experience than with TH-cam. It is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

About Oldedalen from Stryn
Oldedalen is a picturesque valley in Western Norway. To get to the valley you ride from Stryn along a beautiful fjord with snowy mountains in the background. As you get to the town of Olden you turn off the main road and venture into one of the most beautiful valleys on the planet, Oldedalen (Valley of the Old). You ride along two azure-colored lakes full of water from the nearby glaciers and waterfalls. On your way, you ride through a few tunnels, one of them very long and scary. In a distance, you can see glaciers and a huge waterfall. The further you venture into the valley, the better it gets. The ride ends in Jostedalsbreen National Park, the largest glacier area in continental Europe. The ride to Oldedalen is easy. But the last segment of the ride has double-digit gradients and is quite difficult compared to the rest of the ride.

Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we recommend adding your favorite music. It is quite simple. Mute TH-cam and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, TH-cam, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... The original sound of the ride has been left out. This is because the natural sound of the surroundings is drowned by noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing.

Thx so much for posting ; especially with so many of us locked-down ...not fun BUT these bike rides are a relief from the craziness . Norway is stunningly beautiful .... maybe it just bumped up to near the topo of my bucket list !!! Pretty Norwegian women never hurt the cause either !!! Both my wife & I like this video as we feel the speed is the nearest to what we can do on our exercise bikes , I have noticed it runs about 80% of normal speed which we are both fine with , this makes our ride more realistic 🚴♂️👍
Because of the glacier (melt water) the lake has particular color.

Very nice drive in a beautiful country; but a problem with the title : Stryn is in the southwest of Norway and does not have anything to deal with Oldedalen which is far away in the north😊😊

Excellent video. Do you have ride videos with the surrounding sounds included. It would add a lot of realism to ones spin bike ride. Much mahalo!
It is not always possible to add audio because of vibrations from the road, noise from wind, the loud noise from passing cars and the rider’s heavy breathing spoiled the audio. But in some cases it is possible. Take a look at our Isefjord ride and Stelvio. Anyway, must of our subscribers prefer to ride it their own music.
@@BiketheWorld your videos are fine without any sounds at all. I was wondering about just having the sounds of the surroundings when shooting the video. That way it would make those who are watching feel they are actually there.
Great video!!! But YT breaks it - how can they put a one minute advertising in the middle of a workout video? We have to stop to skip it. That is why we have to use ad blockers.
Mid-roll ads are turned off in our settings. Still YT plays adds mid-roll. No fair...

I use Occulus Quest for indoor rides. Really makes the rides realistic and enjoyable.

The problem is that music is very subjective and it is very difficult to find royalty free music that everybody likes. As explained in the description: just add you own music. It is easy...
