It's a long rant but I do apologize in advance Coach, I have not watched THE FFL: That's the Flag Football League for pansies & overpaid whinners in 5 years.
Trust me when I say this, I loved the NFL. It got me through the most rough & horrific times in my life. When I lost my Wife & Child. I taped every game with the Sunday NFL package from DIRECT TV. So I could watch every game one after the next.
I wouldn't watch ESPN or other news because I didn't want to see the scores. My family knew better than to tell me any NFL game scores, big plays, or anything about a Game. Unless I mentioned I had already watched said game.
It drives me crazy when you guys talk about or even watch this watered-down poor excuse for NFL football the FFL has rolled out over the past, at minimum 8 years.
The shit they're playing now is nothing but (punk) ball for overpaid position players. Where defenses have had their hands tied behind their backs. Out of college, the defensive players are taught horrible techniques like Leading with their shoulders while their eyes are looking away or at the ground because Leading with their helmet will cause helmet-to-helmet contact which is a big no-no in college football nowadays. Okay, I can see why. Most of the college players aren't getting PAID.
That's not the case in the FFL & I refuse to call today's FFL the NFL because it's NOT THE NFL. It's devolved into Flag football for overpaid position players who don't want to be hit anymore.
What pisses me off is old-school guys like you know this but you continue to watch this bullshiiite league.
If we old-school NFL fans stood up & said screw you FFL. We will not watch another horrible game or buy team merchandise the FFL would either wise up or you will lose (shiiiiite) tons of money. I have said this for 5+ years now. Let these watered-down fans watch watered-down FLAG FOOTBALL because I'm tired of it.
The problem is you guys make money talking about the game. Stop watching this shit & make money off of bagging on & talking shit or making fun of the FFL.
Hell, I'd like to team up with a few old-school heads like you & produce merchandise lampooning this punk ball & these overpaid whinners who play it. I know a lot of old-school fans who have turned the NFL & MBA off.
Yet we still remember & love our teams. Just not the FFL, the FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE version that Rodger Goodell's leaderless vision rolls out every season.
Yeah, he's made owners & players rich but he has ruined the NFL. I can't bear to watch the shit the FFL rolls out & God knows the MBA is & has been nothing but hot garbage for a decade plus.

I grew up watching the NBA during Larry/Magic/MJ era and this basketball is not even close to what we watched. Even the 2000's had better hoops than this product they put out now

So called "super teams", zero defense, woke nonsense, 3pt shots galore, flopping, etc. The NBA is by far the worst professional sport in the world, it's unwatchable garbage. Pretty much everyone I grew up with still watches other sports, but not a single person still watches the NBA. They've lost an entire generation of fans and don't seem very interested in getting them back. The league could fold tomorrow and I'd be just fine with it.

Don't forget Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon were never All-Stars when they competed in the Slam Dunk competition. Fantastic dunkers but they didn't deserve the opportunity. It's a slap in the face to prior winners like Dr J, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Vince Carter.

Coach JB, I am a late 70’s baby and I gave up on both leagues about 6 years ago because of all of what you just said and the videos you have shown in your rant! Basketball is a joke and Football is laughable and I just cannot and will not support a bad product with my eyes nor with my money!
