Coyote with a gen 6 whipple, 10 speed auto. Make it a power house. Toss it on coilovers with a bigger factory style wheel and clear the patina.
Yes! Just add the f150 awd/4wd for the hurting of feelings 😂
All that and prerunner with a mild lift and make it streetable.
That’s the build right there.
Or crush it cuz its a Fudd
I agree, except repaint it because Patina has been done too much and that was last year
7.3 Godzilla with whipple supercharger from Texas speed, paired to a t56 transmission, 4:30 differential gear ratio, drop suspension, track ready yet comfortable for daily driving, possibly swap a mustang gt350 suspension with beefier anti roll bars and high quality adjustable coil overs, electric power steering system from a newer f150, add creature comforts to the interior such as; air con, comfortable racing style bucket seats, entertainment system with great audio and gps system similar to a new f150, apple car play ect. Digital instrument gauges, sound proofing, super clean roll cage. Keep the patina on the exterior, 19 inch rims up front with to fit 285 wide tires and 20 inch rims in the rear to accommodate 315 wide tires…. Oh and a full borla exhaust system
Clear over Patina, Coyote, full suspension, non-chrome 18/20's, classic interior w/ Dakota gauges.
Coyote swap, coil over, auto, patina with those rims and tires. Love y'all's work. Mr. Sir King Monkey
Agree love those wheels and love the patina on it.
My ears ringing
Keep the Patina and brightwork, but set up the chassis for autocross. Coyote with a supercharger and tons of power into a 5 of 6 speed manual. Get some huge version of a rally wheel.
I second the sleeper approach on a cool vintage truck 💥
Thanks for being hospitable to Tess. Shes Super Dope 😎🏁🤘🔥
Ohio on the map! Dayton/Kettering area here
@@kurtl6126 Eastern Kentucky here. SRC/OMG/G2G/ JimmyDale to the Front 😎🏁🤘 my wife's from east end of Dayton.
Protouring/resto mod, patina, coil overs , 9inch , 4 wheel discs, 18s & 20s small tubbed for obviously wider rears, tires nothing less than 50 aspect ratio for a little muscular meaty look, factory style patina paint to match wheels with baby moons, dropped not slammed and interior restomod last but not least Coyote with a 6 speed behind it. Something that could be daily driver. Obviously air an sounds.
I would make it a full Raptor. But patina the raptor decals in a vintage looking Raptor logo to match the paint.
I’d do that with the step side
I would love to see it stay Ford and get a coyote. I love the torque thrust wheels too.
Agreed 💯 I think like a wolf in sheep's clothing do a Whipple supercharger on a new coyote 5.0, the awd/4wd f150 suspension under the old 78 would be awesome as well.
6.7 power stroke,patina,Detroit steel wheels
Tess did good on her interview. It's also the street racing community is there for eachother like a family. Competing with each other is one thing but when you need help or parts people will be there.
Vintage 80s style. 1 tone axles, built 460, 39" swampers, 73-77 grill
I like the pro touring style with the coyote
Stoked that my choice of truck was selected. Here is what I would like it to be.
Style: ProMod Drag Truck
Engine Coyote
Power: twin turbo
Transmission: drag automatic with trans-brake
Suspension: drag racing static suspension
Wheels: forged drake race wheels
Paint: rat rod style keep patina
Interior: race interior
You been reading my mind bro😂👌
Coyote, Turbo, 6 speed manual, coilovers, Cobra seats black interior , Clear coat or Metallic electric blue yellow pinstripe.
BOSS 429 5 speed resto coil over suspension same wheels keep the pitina buckets seats and center console
Love the idea of a 572 big block Ford with a six speed and a killer coil over suspension with like 335x20s in the back with 275x19s in the front and a TMI style interior. Hell you could even through a Procharger on it too just for fun. I hate patina so I'd go like a black or even Ford's old Nightmist blue or Presidential blue in a pearl or matalic.
Grabber blue with all the chrome
Update suspension, leave the body alone. Dont cut hole in hood . Ls bullet proof transmission automatic posi rwd. Update interior. Either clear coat or paint the car. Do solid color and chrome wheel well strips and chrome windsheild strips
This patina is so perfect, please keep it somehow!
So happy my pick won.
1.resto mod but keep patina
2. I am a chevy guy but keep with ford on the engine maybe coyote?
3. Mild drop coil overs? Definitely something classy air ride would imo ruin the truck
4. Who cares what I say just build it and film it for us.
Richard's feet kept looking for a real bar stool 😂 my man
Shes is so badass
Body - stock appearance, swap grill for round headlight style, two tone paint (black & red). Interior - Stock appearance, bench seat, black leather with black/red plaid or buffalo plaid inserts). Driveline - built 7.3 Godzilla (500 hp) with 6 speed manual. Suspension - 4x4 with 3" lift and 35's. Call it the North Country Edition. Has me thinking of my grandfather hunting in the U.P. with his 30-30.
Coal burning Diesel, Manual transmission, old school - visor, roll bar, lights.
Flatbed rear with interchangeable rear ends for different occasions 👍🇬🇬
Supercharged coyote with the blower out the hood, manual, coil-overs, oem+ looks as far as interior and wheels and keep the patina
Restomod, supercharged coyote, coilovers, big factory style wheel, clear patina, update the factory style interior (modernize, leather).
Coyote 🐺 swap, procharger clear coat the PatIna, pro touring sleeper ..
Procharged coyote, 6 speed, coil over with 3 piece wheels protouring style and keep that beautiful patina.
Do what ever you want, just hand it to me when you're done!!
Pro touring widebody with style but class that goes fast with jtx forged modern badass wheels 💯
GMG Notification Hit,i told the family im busy. Good morning Richard and crew nice to hear from you. Stickshift definitely,no air ride, full on drag with a blower motor ,Mad Max that mofo.
Resto mod with a coyote engine. Coil overs! Chrome wheels.
Go coyote, midnight performance transmission and turbo kit 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Hey dude this is the sort of gas monkey garage I love doing well when you go off the air for awhile and shoots the tears out of me great gear should come to Australia sometime
Incredible way to keep us fans involved!!
1) restomod
2) coyote
3) 6 speed with sequential
4) Coil overs
5) patina
6) modern interior
Im so glad the Riveria is still there, we definettly need an update on that
Richard needs a buyer for the build...
@Jacques_Merde that's why we need an update, last I heard it was a SEMA built a while back
@@cosmiccoo2 I remember that... the last i heard RR speak about it he was looking for someone to pay to get it built out... I do not think he is going to get the money back out of it. I guess there is a reason why one does not see custom-slammed Riv's on the road.
Look at cleetus’s modern f150 build, I’m thinking the ratrod version of that with the modern drivetrain and suspension setup
Hi Richard this is Richard,
Coyote, supercharged, has to be STICK SHIFT period!!!! Run a huge stock car radiator w/ dual electric fans , black suede leather bucket seats, dash original but digital dial gages, keep everything minimal! keep everything on exterior as a sleeper except stance drop the nose a hair. Matte Clear that baby and let her shine. Wheels I would like the 5 spoke original mustang wheels chrome or gold with White or black spokes. Exhaust would have to be duals (single don’t look right) x pipe and electric cut outs. Roll up quietly then unleash the beast. Would do light tint like 20% on side windows and 5% rear . Windshield should be gorilla glass or similar. Air ride would be good but coil overs will be less of an issue. Air ride is never 100% where coil overs you dial them to you and lock it in. Don’t forget those frames on those models and years are weak have to add ladder rungs to stiffen it up. Wilwood brakes 4 piston . Don’t forget the 8 track radio.
Coyote (Ford needs Ford power, sorry I'm a Ford guy!) , auto (10 speed would make it a good driver). Keep engine under the hood, supercharger or turbo or natural aspirated i have no preference but a sleeper truck would be really cool. Coil over, tasteful lower - not slammed. That patina looks sweet on this truck but clean new paint would look amazing too. Not stuck on rims on the truck but having trouble deciding. Maybe 18's on back 17's on front and give it 70's muscle car look. Not sure about bench but not sure about buckets. 40-20-40 seat might be nice in classy leather so could still be a truck and carry 3 in the cab, but comfortable driving.
This will be a really cool build to see!
Coyote 🐺 swap, PatIna clear coat, with a procharger...
Make it a sleeper. Coyote engine, dropped down just a little bit, 6-speed transmission, billet wheels that looks close to OEM, street racing shocks and framing. Yea I know sounds weird but I know you guys can do it.
Sound perfect to me👌
Coyote, manual, static drop, stock looking 20's wheels tucking the tires, painta paint, and modern interior with loud sound system.
Coyote swap, supercharger (underhood), auto, clear the patina, stock 'looking' wheels (just wider), coil-over suspension, 4 wheel disk. A real 'sleeper'.
Coyote swapped super charged 6 speed coil over nice set of drag style wheels and leave it patina sleeper
Whipple coyote, coil over suspension, clean factory style interior, nice wheels, patina paint = Clean af truck
Coyote powered, Tremec 5 spd manuel, coil-over shocks, (tight suspension, road radical) NO COPY of the SKIDMARK..
here's my pick for this truck build- style- resto/muscle stance. engine- coyote, a shelby engine would be nice because it's super charged. transmission-6 speed standard. chassis- basically make it mechanically to mustang specifications. wheel style- modern mustang style. paint- patina with a twist, make it look like a Gas Monkey Garage truck that was painted , 30+ years ago. have the lettering look like it's peeling off and rusty, sun faded to match the truck. interior- make it look like a mustang inside. so this truck would be a work truck on the outside and basically a mustang everywhere else.
Wide body low not slammed 20s and 22 Ring brother style Interior To tone paint Static ride Twin turbo automatic Ten speed That way you can sell it at Barrett Jackson afterwards
100% Coyote swap it, and I personally like trucks with new paint!!
5.2 from shelby gt 500 swap. 10 sp auto. Clear the patina. Keep the wheels. Lower it. Put it on coilovers. Bucket seats with a custom center console. Updated dash. Custom toolbox that is made to be a cooler for the beer. Small cooler fitted in the center console to stash beer in the truck. Dream truck for Richard.
Restomod, static suspension, 351 with a blower through the hood, classic style wheel/tire combo, gloss black with factory trim.
I'd go ProTouring with Coyote turbos + Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission 18" wheels with the proper tires, Coil over shock suspension front and rear, proper killer stance and that rear wing. As much as like the slammed trucks but there's no shortage of them out there. Everyone does the same. I'd paint that in Porsche Gulf Blue with the Satin black rims.
Caçada maravilhosa muitas moedas muita emoção e que Deus abençoe o Lucius sempre !!
I think coyote,turbo,6 speed mt and air ride is the best setup about this chassis 😍😎🔥
Coyote 🐺 swap, procharger,
Clear coat the PatIna
I have some 500ci Caddy engines and even some V12 engines laying around down here in Houston, you could have one or more of those so I can have more room in my garage.
Go for an unconventional old school build and do something that others aren't right now to make it stand out. Use a Ford Flathead modded out and supercharged! There have been guys getting up to 700 HP out of these things and it won't be just some drop in bolt on crate that anyone can (and everyone is) do!
Paint wise I would like to see a Deep Brandywine with Pewter colored accents!
Wheels, modern take on retro old style wheels.
Interior, modern comfort.
@ClickOnMyProfile349 SCAMMER! REPORTED!
My vote would be coyote swap resto mod gen 6 Whipple sky blue and silver two tone 6 speed
Yep. Make him a sleeper.
SUPER CHARGED COYOTE !!! STEEL WHEELS WITH CAPS. KEEP THE PATINA
@ClickOnMyProfile479 ok 👍🏻
Super clean sleeper.
Stock lowered look from a distance. Super clean close up and a monster underneath. That's IF you keep the patina. Limited bodywork
Twin turbo diesel engine, 6 speed manual, coil suspension, racing wheels, left the patina it's great!!
Supercharger, coyotes 6 speed, coil over, 24 inch wheels, clear the paint tint windows
Supercharger, coyotes 6 speed, coil over, 24 inch wheels, clear the paint tint windows.
Restomod with a Coyote NA - probably an automatic just built for cross country drives. 18" wheels, keep the patina with matte clear. A nice bucket seat Interior with a center console (with cupholders) an aftermarket chassis if the budget allows. Love that truck, it was my choice😊
Blown 350 all forged internals long tube headers 2 speed auto Flowmaster mufflers coilovers cup holder for a miller lite WOOOHOOO!!
Custom supercharger v10 4x4 and lift it Nice 24” billet wheels with off-road tires. Hunter green exterior and Tan 80s recaro seats center console , digital gauges.
Can't wait to see the old Truck
I would say doing something out of the ordinary! Lift it and make it a 4x4 with a coyote swap engine with a whipple, coil over suspension, standard transmission, Beadlock rims on 38"tires, and keep the patina!
What if Shelby built a truck back then ? Next sema build . Interesting
I learned to drive on a 1979 Ford Ranger with a 3 on tree, pumpkin orange then a couple years later my stepdad had to put a wooden bed on it that I helped ( watched him, I was the gopher) build.
The Godzilla engine!! THAT is my vote...
I would tourn it in one of this two ways:
- Pro Touring mode. Coyote Swap, coilover suspension, manual trasmission, race retro-look interior and clear on this patina, 17" wheels.
- 4x4 offroad mode. Coyote Swap with supercharger, automatic trasmission, race interior, exterior painted in blue/red/white colours, 15" or 16" max beadlock wheels with mud tyres.
It would look amazing in any of this two solutions!
Restomod. On coilovers and decent brakes and the cayote with a supercharger. A metallic light blue with Silver
Bagged, big block ford with a big blower, and with the appropriate transmission, both fully built. I would say put modern stuff in it, but if you're keeping the patina, gotta keep it old school. Old school muscle truck on bags, would be absolutely wicked.
Pro touring with the patina. Coyote motor. Looks like a ranch truck with racing wheels on the outside but killer in the inside
With a procharger,
Sleeper,
I vote do a supercharged coyote, or do kind of a wolf in sheep's clothing. I think perfection of this build would be do a 4wd/awd setup like the new f150 but in the old 78 body.
390 w/C6. High stall converter, big lumpy cam and a low rise dual quad and a manual shift valve body😊
Coyote 10r80 swap it with a roots style Supercharger, Ridetech air suspension(which will give you ride comfort and the ability to change ride heights and suspension on the fly).
Pro touring with a Supercharged coyote engine, manual gearbox. Air ride chassi with Billet wheels. And the piece the resistance with Black and Silver paint with modern interior. Yeeeah, thats it. I want it in 4 weeks
Resto mod with a twin turbo coyote. 10 speed tranny. Two tone paint. Always liked the cream over green on this truck. Keep it the same stance but, obviously upgrade the suspension. Do some sort of bronze rims with wide tires.
LOTS OF ONLINE INTERACTION, INPUT, NICE!👍👍👍👍👍
Coyote would be awesome, pro tourer and patina sealed with clear. There’s the basic opinion of mine.
HI ALL
Great to see Miss Midnight aka Tess and Tony [ I only wear shorts ''and sunglasses AT NIGHT ] lol the street racing legion be apart of Gas Monkey youtube thanks boys
Pro touring, coil overs, similar style wheels, patina, blown bbf, manual
PatIna, clear coat
Supercharged Coyote, 6 speed manual, slammed, air ride, big wheels with factory look, wide body, white paint, black interior.
keep it as it is maybe a motor up grade and trans too
Pro touring
Coyote swap
twin turbo
awd
basically sit the cab in a brand new f150 but make it handle better.
leave the patina in it
The coyote with a blower through the hood not towering over the hood though it'll be cool as if it was is streetable drag car
Big block with a pro charger, gear vendor, coil over, 20”stocks, 2 tone, all west Texas desert sand interior.
Amazing
Clearcoat the patina, coilovers, and ive not seen but have heard the Coyote engine.
I wouldn't miss a Discovery series from the program here in Brazil, sad that the series ended. Good to see you again.
Hell yeah my brother! I'm hyped!🎉🎉🎉
This thing needs lined up beside cleetus's blue f150 if he builds it right
coyote , manual , coils , patina , stock interior , wide steel wheels
Godzilla with a 6 speed stick shift.
LS12 from aussie low compression version with quad turbos.
TR6060 transmission.
Air ride suspension.
Clear coated.
Protouring, coyote with a blower and automatic transmission, coilovers, Either keep the patina or do an old Harley blue they had back on the WLs in the 40ies. No chrome, all black trim. Big wheels with oldschool design. New but oem style interior.
Big engine supercharger big tires 6 speed manual candy paint. All the trim rechromed. Full blown custom interior.
Slam it .
Big block.
Teal colour.
My dream truck
I’d love to see the patina stay, old school stance low in the front high rear (jacked up) with some old style wheels (sst cregors) coyote swap, bucket seats, green interior with white piping.
Pro touring sleeper
Resto mod all the way with coyote, auto and those wheels.
