I made the math for our folks here in the rest of the world: 74 oz = 2.1 kg I can't even shit a steak without coffee and you're eating 2kg no liquids. 11 hours in the toilet that's for sure. At least...

They also have control over the nausea receptors in the brain and their gag reflex. Adam is just a normal dude, but yeah, you need serious discipline and skill to eat vast quantities of food. And the sad part is they are doing damage to their bodies. I mean, they permanently stretch their stomachs and what they do not realize is it is effectively shortening their life. If, God forbid these competitive eaters were put in a survival situation where they get stranded, they would not last 24 hours. But, then again, you only live once, so fuck it, do what you love.
I wish I could just order it as a meal. The $140 is worth the money. However, I can see why he won the Big Texan challenge and failed here when it was only 2 ounces bigger. The Big Texan challenge they made the meat more tender.. while at least one cut (the flat steak) is designed to take more energy to chew. Also, he had to eat any fat and gristle as well here.. which isn't fair.

Those Delmonico steaks were amazing. Only difference I had was instead of prime rib they changed it to veal chop. Almost 200 ppl lost to the challenge when we did it and only 47 beat it. we made it 49 afterwards.
