I didn’t get it at first, but the connection between shepherds and modern truckers is actually so clear!
Jesus is the good shepherd and the people that he seeks to save are the same people that he tells us to seek. Caring for people is like the hard work of caring for sheep and cargo in its difficulty and sometimes loneliness, but with so much more value.
