That jacks run had to be dragged kicking and screaming through every ante up until the last. It felt like everything came at the last possible moment before collapse to keep the run going just a little bit longer.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the significance of not using any of the Eris he had building up? Wouldn't using them boosted the score more? I understand he said diminishing returns but a boost is a boost right? Edit: I looked up the wiki I think i understand now. He needed to upgrade telescope twice? To make more use of the cards by holding than using them. Is that correct?
Also using the Eris would have had near zero effect on his score, it would've only been a miniature dent because it was a small linear gain rather than exponential like observatory or the jokers he was searching for. Hopefully that also helps clear that up
@@AvaValentine8655except that for this game specifically that little dent would have been the difference between beating the ante and possibly getting observatory. Using 25 eris would have easily been enough and he generates 5 more each round so he could still reach naneinf. Holding them for nothing while they would make no meaningful difference even with observatory isnt correct either.
Because the legend jokers from it doesn't do much to help boost the run score at that Ante. The best is probably get another Perkeo but it's still 1 in 5 chance
Late legendaries are often not that helpful because they usually require you to change your strategy in order to make use of them. When you’re that late in the run, all of your resources are going towards keeping up with the ante scaling, and you don’t have much wiggle room to try and maximize a trib, for example. TL;DR Chad has immediate and easily implementable gains, legendaries can take time to become worthwhile.
@@confucheese honestly forgot trib only worked on Kings and Queens. my brain was saying face card that why i was wondering why he didnt take the chance cuz he couldve just found a chad again already if it was a bad legendary. and i feel like he had a lot of room on the antes if he took the mail and rebate he couldve rolled harder for something exponentially better than a chad

You're not kidding, that run should have died a different times.

thanks Satan, you're a legend
This is one of the craziest runs I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing in real time

Your edit is correct, that was indeed why he was building them :)

im confused why he didnt take the soul instead of a hanging chad? and he missed the mail and rebate the round before
