The "being worthy" thing is actually a Marvel thing, I believe. In the actual myth, Mjolnir was simply too heavy for anyone but Thor to lift, if I remember correctly
And the impossible to lift without being worthy is a MCU thing specifically. In the comics, Hulk is able to lift the hammer as the enchantment works there that the hammer gets heavier, but Hulk got stronger faster than the hammer could get heavier, so Mjölnir accepted Hulk as worthy pretty much (as far as I know)

Just to clear something up. Being deemed worthy to lift Mjolnir is a Marvel thing, it is not a thing in the actual Norse myth. It could still happen, Oda having fun with references and all but likely not, if that even is supposed to be a Mjolnir reference.
My theory on the the loki offering to destroy a pirate crew, is that Luffy in classic fashion will get distracted with something and leave loki tied up, only for cross guild to show up later and have Loki go after the straw hats consider the many members with enmity towards them.
I actually like the idea behind Loki offering to destroy a pirate crew. Perhaps something comes up with Vivi, but also something goes down involving Black Beard and Luffy asks Loki to fight Black Beard while they go save their friend. How convenient would that be for Black Beard to not only beat a huge threat like Loki to show off his power and set his power scale up for the final fights, AND he get his 3rd devil fruit, which is a legendary one on top of it all?
I am just itching for Luffy to find out the things Shanks has done in the past. Disregarding the entire graves he has filled. The friendship Luffy has made, That Shanks, has crippled. Finally, Shanks admits he used Luffy for his own master plan.
I’ll be honest, I feel like Shanks and Loki actually don’t have much to do with another. Loki only called Shanks a coward to get a rise out of Luffy, and Shanks was only brought up because Loki’s lackeys. And the way they referenced it seemed like it was a recent encounter, like when Shanks was last in Elbaph.
Loki's bounty may have been frozen because he was caught. And I feel like Loki's fruit is setting up to be nika related. So he's a very powerful guy who's possibly got imagination-based powers, and he's been locked up and left to his sick thoughts for years. He's gotta be mad powerful, don't sleep on loki
"when I'm unchained, I'm gonna kill him" that's more like a gag than being literally After all sometimes Luffy's crew also have those thoughts too in most funny moments, accidents, or misunderstanding
Learning that Loki was imprisoned for 6 years, which lines up with when Shanks got officially recognized as a Pirate Emperor by the world is crazy stuff... but it could just be a coincidence. Then again, Loki definitely knows who Shanks is and even went so far as to call him a coward, so he's definitely got a beef with the guy. And here, my only thought when reading about how Loki's been chained up against the Jewel Tree Adam was "pfft, 6 years is nothing to a giant, a mere pittance to someone who can live to over 300 years"... Not that I'd want to be chained up for any degree of time, but still. The whole "Four Emperors" discussion is intriguing to me, though, since it's not like these are official positions like the Seven Warlords of the Sea, these are (supposedly) the 4 strongest pirates in the world, who's very presence, and the connections therein, are recognized by the people of the world as being nearly untouchable. It's like Law said in Punk Hazard, in the New World there are only two ways to survive: either you ally yourself with one of the Four Emperors or you become one. It genuinely makes me wonder when the "Emperor" moniker became a thing and for how long... I also have to wonder how much thought Oda put into those seastone chains. They obviously need to be seastone because they de-power and weaken Loki, who is a Devil Fruit user (literally this world's Kryptonite), but I wonder if Oda thought about how these massive chains came about beyond that, or how the giants of Elbaph even had these chains in the first place. They could just be there out of convenience and Oda didn't think much beyond that... Or maybe there's an in-depth explanation that Oda just doesn't have time to include in the story. I've noticed that with a lot of weird plot details in recent One Piece, it could go either way. The Villain Retrospective for Kizaru is sure to be interesting, he's definitely a fascinating antagonist.
The absolute powerhouse move would be our God Usopp lifting the hammer. It makes triple sense because he got ripped during the timeskip, he is known to use a particular Usopp hammer and this would make him even more respected by other giants and give him additional boost to make his dream come true. Also, Nami as a part of the coward trio recently got a power up in the form of Zeus and will therefore not be bad for Usopp to get a power up.
I don’t think Loki’s proposal to kill off an entire pirate crew is an example of Chekov’s gun. This was a quick and easy way to indicate to the audience (and even Luffy) what kind of person Loki is. He claims with absolute bravado what his strength is capable of while talking down to Luffy. It tells the readers *why* Loki is chained up and what chaos could ensue if Loki is freed. No, if there’s any sort of chekov’s gun here it’s the idea of freeing Loki. He’s a ticking time bomb, and now that Luffy has upset him Loki is a wild card that can cause absolute chaos either here on Elbaph or in the future
11:36 Loki is not active for more than 6 years so the bounty he had must be before that, and it might not increased beacuse of his inactiveness. if he was free he might have a bounty of a emperor, and Oda already given us top 10 bounties already may be he just made it lower, so it not mess up that list
Maybe the whole "destroying a pirate crew" is introduced for a case where luffy DOESNT free Loki. Blackbeard could be the one freeing him and sending him to destroy shanks or the strawhats, while supporting him with the ragnorak idea. It would also introduce a case where the blackbeard top 3 would seem like the greatest challenge, with Loki and Aokiji, even above the mihawk, croc duo. Also Loki and Blackbeard share the Shanks Hatred and also both want to "reshape the world" so it seems like they would be bonding pretty easily.
To be fair to Loki Luffy just punched him while he was being restrained, even a good guy tm in the OP world would think "Imma unalive this dude" out of anger
It just occured to me... Saul may actually die this time. When a character, especially a female character is given a new haircut In real time as opposed to a timeskip or in this case an old one. It usually means something important to their arc or growth will happen. So it may be that Robin returns to her old haircut for this arc but Saul dies and she sees him as he dies and he remembers the little girl. And then she restyles her hair a final time to mark her resolve to finish her dream.
Complete nutjob theory here: *If* Loki is the bad guy of this arc and if Oda is planning to stick to the Norse mythology theme this arc, there *needs to be* a Thor in this arc as well, and perhaps that Thor will be a certain god of thunder that we've already met... The probability of this being true is obviously very low given that Skypiea was always sort of disconnected from the blue sea below, but as a wise man once said, "The crazier a One Piece theory, the more likely it is to happen."
I can't wait to see Enel again, ever since the final Wano chapters where people are playing drums with his symbol on them I've been hoping for him to appear soon
i feel that having saul meet one or some of the straw hats before he meets robin would remove the impact of meeting up since the whole thing with saul is saying how there are friends out there for robin so him meeting them all together would mean so much more
Lokis bounty having a lower bounty actually was very scary to me because after seeing the jump our two giant bros bountys took, that in my mind cemented the fact that lokis bounty is out dated and we’re looking at an unknown level threat
I think the Elbaf royalty may know they don't have the real Nika fruit. They were protecting the real Nika fruit and have been for centuries because they have the strength to defend themselves from the WG.
Loki's thought bubble doesn't necessarily mean he's evil, Luffy almost splattered his head against that tree when he was chained up, I'd say wanting to kill him for that is a valid reason especially when you consider the reason Luffy did that in the first place.
The thought bubble of Loki saying he'd kill Luffy when he got out is the biggest reason I don't view him as a threat. To me that line reads the same as Lucci saying he doesn't view Straw Hat as emperor. He is being set up to have a lot of parallels to Luffy which could suggest he is going to be the antagonist, but I'm just not feeling it from him. Feels more like someone we'll have a small conflict with early on before teaming up with to fight the real enemy.
9:50 So now we have Coby and Loki, two people with similar names who started out as wimpy cowards until they got a wake-up call, training hard for a massive glow-up to become an antagonist to Luffy. It's good that Coby trained hard to be able to lift the absolutely massive sake cup he'll have to exchange with Loki if they ever meet.
The Shanks side of things makes Loki super interesting. I wonder how Luffy will respond to finding out about Bartolomeo, Kidd, and whatever Loki has to say about his chains. Shanks deciding to go for the One Piece now, his history with the giants, Usopp's (hopeful) character arc which more than likely will include Yasopp, and the comment "Ill take out any pirate crew," from Loki make it seem like part of that conflict might happen sooner than we think
I thinl Loki is like young Oden in Wano, a big trouble maker that does what he wants. I wonder what's going to be his reaction if Nami comments " so, you are Lola's suitor..."
im calling its, Kuzan will appear on Elbaph, it will give us the full circle of robins flashback. Kuzan has some nostalgia of her as a child as well after all.
I’m not to worried about Saul because aside from oda just needing a reason to delay his reunion with robin, both chopper and gerd (the giant pirate doctor) are making their way up the bridge to the elbaf village and that village is most likely where Saul is.
I'm probably in the minority in this opinion, but I'd like to see Luffy vs Loki be a more silly conflict a la the Buggy and Foxy fights. Something with more gags and goofiness would be a nice change of pace coming off the multi year cavalcade of high stakes serious fight battles we've had. Especially if the arc after this one is going to lead up to the end game final battle. One last hurrah for the road.
I wonder if shanks was meant to bring the Nika fruit to elbaph, than when Luffy ate it he made up the whole “gum-gum fruit” lie to cover his tracks and entrusting luffy’s roger-like spirit to be a better suited for the fruit
But, can you imagine if Loki keeps his promise and mirrors Oars Jr. during the Second Summit War? If Doflamingo remains imprisoned they might even have a leg up this time.
5:45 In Loki’s defense Luffy HAD just tried to cave in his skull just a few moments prior. True he should’ve been careful about trash talking Shanks, but Luffy went from 0 to 100 in a nanosecond. I’d be pretty angry too.
I fully expect that Luffy's thought when Loki gave him the option of freeing him and he'd take down any pirate crew, Luffy immediately thought about asking Loki to take down the blackbeard pirates
I really hope Elbaph covers the following: - Nika / Joyboy lore - Shanks background - void century information since Elbaph was probably around at the time - hopefully will see Vivi rejoin here - a war between Luffy, Loki, Shanks, and hopefully some if not all of the Gods Knights for all of this to serve as a Ragnarok war that gets the final war truly started as….. - SH next stop needs to be the meeting with RevArmy
Imo Loki's devil fruit could very well be, like the God his name comes from, a trick fruit, kinda what Usopp does, but on steroids, lots and lots of steroids, for example, it could be a mix of Bonnie's fruit with Usopp's lies, kinda making what he says into reality, that's why he's so dangerous and had to be restrained, or else the world would be thrown into chaos, because well, he's clearly insane. It seems this arc will be close to what Fishman was, an arc with a villain that thinks he's so much more powerful than he actually is compared to Luffy, and the surroundings being his most powerful weapon. I just hope Oda doesn't come up with another princess for Luffy to rescue.
"Okay guys let's go get Loki's devil fruit, we saved him for last because he's chained to a tree and can't move. Wait where'd he go?" - Black Beard in a year or two
@@acandela1294nah Loki joining BB or BB getting his fruit would make no sense. It would just be Oda trying to make BB overpowered for the sake of being overpowered.
Also as we have seen during the law vs black beard fight that haki can also be a full counter to devil fruit powers so a bunch of sea prism stone would just be icing on the cake
Saw that thought (of the 5.6Billion Beri combined Bounty) somewhere before, and this video seems to be a good place for my theory: Loki got the Logia Fruit (Or Special Paramecia? Or Mythical Zoan? (Suggestions in that order of probability.)). For the Sun. Name: Taiyō Taiyō no mi. Idea is that there seems to be two types of Sun God, one for joy & the freeing of the slaves, and the other the more literal Sun God, the one the Shandia Tribe mentioned in the flashback with Noland. A metaphorical & a literal Interpretation / Devil Fruit representation, if you will.
I'm sure I'm not alone here, but Loki's been my favourite new introduction in a hot minute. Personally hipe he joins the crew, might be a good match up for Jesus Burgess and the Strong Strong Fruit. Or to fight Sanjuan Wolf in a Giant v Giant slugfest
7:08 Maybe the chains were made to hold the OG JoyBoy / Nika, and Loki believes he actually is his reincarnation because they used the same chains on him
I have a theory on how Loki escapes the chains and the conflict on the Island. Kidd was sank by Shanks near the island so it would make sense for him to resurface on the lower tier where Loki is being kept. Loki will offer Kidd the same deal he offered Lffy about wiping a crew on his behalf, and Kidd will choose Shanks as a form of revenge which Loki would be more than happy to oblige. Also with Kidd meant to be a conqueror like Luffy and is somewhat meant to rival him I wonder if the defeat by Shanks has destroyed that will to be the Pirate King causing KIdd to also align with the Blackbeard Pirates as well as Loki. With the arc being based on an island titled Warland it would make for a sizeable conflict with the parties being: (A) Strawhats and Giants (B) Loki, Kidd and BB pirates (C) God Knights.
I can't explain it, but Loki gives me Franky vibes where he is initially framed as an antagonist who ends up joining team strawhat. Too soon to start calling "crewmate" predictions but definitely thinking he'll be a big ally later.
I think Loki is gonna be exactly what he is named after. A trickster. When he calls himself the sun god. I think he himself knows he isn't, but uses the powers of his fruit to trick people and make his fiction a reality. Hence why he would also be chained up like that, and be the shame of Elbaph. He wouldn't fight like a warrior, deceiving and tricking his enemies before beating them. Update: Loki will be the someone Usopp will see all the lies and trickery, and help his crew/giants realize the truth, or be the one to at least stop Loki's trickery and deceiving for one of the Straw Hats to finish him up?
I just want to point out that saying extreme things/threats is a character quirk people have already had in the past. Even Chopper says extreme stuff when complemented. So it could be that Loki is genuinely strong and kind of an edge lord, but not actually genuinely evil at heart. I also think that rather than Loki being thin from working out post rejection from Lola, it could be that he's just been starved for the last 6 years while imprisoned. Maybe instead of yelling always being the reason the island shakes, sometimes it could be from his stomach growling.
Chopper SAYS those things, while Loki only had a thought bubble, meaning he didn't want to say it out loud and those were his real thoughts, not an overreaction
Something I find very interesting about Loki is that he is either blind or has been blinded. So including the hammer now we can either say that this Loki is some kind of literary amalgam of Loki, Thor, AND Odin, or we have something very bizarre happening here. Loki in myth really isn't directly associated with blindness or eyes at all, that was Odin's shtick. There was however one instance of him having some relationship with blindness and that's tricking the blind Hod to shoot Balder, the god of what is generally considered the god of light, warmth, and JOY, thus killing him and starting Ragnarok.
I don't believe the chains are wrapped ALL the way around Ygddrassil. It looks miss like they're wrapped around one of the above ground roots. In the background, you can see another one of the roots coming off the tree and going down into the ground, with more than enough space between part of the root and the ground to wrap plenty of chains through. I'm like 95% positive, that's the kind of root Loki is chained to too.
If the chains were commissioned during the void century and were made to hold a giant with a devil fruit, that giant is probably Joyboy with the gum gum fruit and the chains were made by the world government while they found a way to kill him
12:10 Time taken doesn’t mean time wasted. Could be another purpose for the focus on the gloves for the final battle. Summoning of lightening via Mjolnier? Return of Enel? Blackbeard takes Kizaru’s DF?
What if Luffy finds out about what happened to Garp while on Elbaph, and ends up sicking Loki on Blackbeard. Would be a really interesting and neat twist - Loki could potentially assist in the fight against Sanjuan Wolf in whatever final battle we end up with.
According to percentage calculations, if $2.6 Billion was the bounty that Loki was given DURING the time that Dori and Broggy were assigned THEIR bounties, the his bounty, currently (if you adjust for in inflation) would be a colossal 46,800,000,000 berries! OVER 8 TIMES ROGER’S BOUNTY!
Something I want to draw some attention to is Loki's potential Devil Fruit. The only real clue we have is that Loki claims it is the Sun God fruit. However, the clues we are overlooking are Loki talking about bringing destruction if he is released and the fact that he is chained up. Loki's devil fruit is going to be a Zoan devil fruit, specifically Model Fenrir. Fenrir is hound who will unleash Ragnarok and "Set the world ablaze" in mythology, which aligns pretty solidly with the idea of a Sun God and who can bring destruction on the level of Ragnarok. Even Loki's internal thoughts about Luffy align with this as Fenrir has a very specific vendetta against Odin and Tyr and wants to kill them both to enact revenge for chaining him up. By proxy, that also means that Shanks is our Tyr analog. This actually makes things a lot more interesting if we use the mythology to help determine how Shanks might have beaten Loki. It also raises the question of who the Odin analog is going to be
BB always works on groups. WG probably has presence in elbaf via Cipher Pol. 1 - BB may come and release loki and ask for "Shanks". 2 - WG may release loki and ask for "Strawhats"(most probably) 3 - Eustass may release loki and ask for "Shanks". 4 - Luffy may release and ask for "BB" because they captured garp. [after luffy learn about it] . Usopp and loki's hammer ? Maybe, if usopp is worthy then he can carry such big hammer. I think somethink resizeable like one hammer from d-gray man. We also need someone that can carry huge seastone key. It's not an easy task. I bet there's a giant CP agent in Elbaf.
As a big marvel fan before discovering One Piece about year ago, Loki of course brings me to Marvel among norse mythology. Reveleation of Hajrudin being elder prince, brings me to Thor and Loki thing. I think Dressrosa might've been intentional lesson of humbleness and respect towards humans, like with Thor who had to get over his arrogance to actually reach his potential. I might be stupid to think this but I'm seriously hoping a big power up for Hajrudin this arc along Usopp's dream to be realized.
The worthy stuff is a marvel thing. In myth, Mjölnir is EXTREMELY heavy, and even Thor needs his gauntlets and belt to lift it. Though others can lift it but only Thor really uses it to its full potential.
I wonder if Shanks will demand his strawhat back. We now know that it is VERY important to the story (Imu's safe, Joy Boy, etc.) and it's Luffy's mark as a pirate, so I don't think he will just give it up. Either Shanks dies before that, or it might be a source of conflict (Shanks has been crushing a lot of dreams lately)
also sanji is insanely skilled to be able to kick a specific intensity and wavelength of light out of all the photons already existing, hes able to kick the specific ones that make up kizarus light beam.
Fictional Pirate Cult Leader - The two points you made at @3:56 and @7:44 // @13:13 can be related to the mysterious man who was waiting for the SH at the end of Chapter 1124, who looked eerily similar to Shiki AND a plausible reason to attack the BB Pirates with Sea Prism Stones since Garp is held captive in Hachinosu, respectively
Loki thinking about killing Luffy doesn't mean he's a bad guy, I mean we don't know Elbaph culture, Luffy ignoring Loki might be the equivalent of pissing on his house or something, either that or he just deems Luffy as so below him that ignoring him is an insult to God. I think that him making friends with the forest animals like Luffy is all you need to see to know he's not a bad guy.
this is a "source: it came to me in a dream" kind of theory but what if the man that shanks went to talk about with the old man crew was Loki? his bounty could make sense if it was set after the reverie events and could also explain why the red hair pirates went to Elbaph of all places

Just to clear something up. Being deemed worthy to lift Mjolnir is a Marvel thing, it is not a thing in the actual Norse myth. It could still happen, Oda having fun with references and all but likely not, if that even is supposed to be a Mjolnir reference.
Shanks had to restrain Loki otherwise he would tell the world about his snitch activities.
crazy
You mean rat activities
or more like he need to restrain Loki otherwise Loki will impregnate Makino 😂😂
@@tawewet4524 "But how can he do that? He's a Giant and she's human. He'd smoosh her!" - Drax probably
I see snitch tied down giant snitch in order for him to keep snitching without any suspect 💀.
My theory on the the loki offering to destroy a pirate crew, is that Luffy in classic fashion will get distracted with something and leave loki tied up, only for cross guild to show up later and have Loki go after the straw hats consider the many members with enmity towards them.
by using the same math that robin did , loki's bounty would be 3.48 billion right now after 6 years
I actually like the idea behind Loki offering to destroy a pirate crew.
Imagine Loki tells him this only to find out it’s a similar situation like film red.they fight but for the wrong reasons.
Been subscribed to your channel for ages, love your work!
"when I'm unchained, I'm gonna kill him" that's more like a gag than being literally
After all sometimes Luffy's crew also have those thoughts too in most funny moments, accidents, or misunderstanding
Shanks was the one who imprisoned Loki. Thus, he earned the trust and respect of the giants. That's also when the WG made him an Emperor.
I could see Shanks being the 1st Warlord. The first pirate the Navy recruited for immunity in trade for his willingness to help them.
0:42 I can't wait to see Loki's Devil Fruit in action the moment Luffy free him from the Seastone Chains.
I will still never get over how some people in One Piece can survive literally exploding at point blank but Kuina died falling down some stairs.
All those times lifting heavy hammers have prepared Usopp to lift the big hammer
Complete nutjob theory here:
*If* Loki is the bad guy of this arc and if Oda is planning to stick to the Norse mythology theme this arc, there *needs to be* a Thor in this arc as well, and perhaps that Thor will be a certain god of thunder that we've already met...
The probability of this being true is obviously very low given that Skypiea was always sort of disconnected from the blue sea below, but as a wise man once said, "The crazier a One Piece theory, the more likely it is to happen."
Enel does have a nice called El Thor
Though Luffy also has Thor Axe
Both? Both
I can't wait to see Enel again, ever since the final Wano chapters where people are playing drums with his symbol on them I've been hoping for him to appear soon
Usopp is the thor with his 10 ton hammer he used in perona
It would be harjudin
i feel that having saul meet one or some of the straw hats before he meets robin would remove the impact of meeting up since the whole thing with saul is saying how there are friends out there for robin so him meeting them all together would mean so much more
Saul just fainted cuz he knows Robin is coming, Oda is playing with us
Lokis bounty having a lower bounty actually was very scary to me because after seeing the jump our two giant bros bountys took, that in my mind cemented the fact that lokis bounty is out dated and we’re looking at an unknown level threat
I seriously think that’s Loki will join the straw hats and be the direct counter to San Juan Wolf in the final battle
nah san juan wolf is weak bruh. just put sanji in there and he will kick him back to where ever the fuck he came from
9:50 So now we have Coby and Loki, two people with similar names who started out as wimpy cowards until they got a wake-up call, training hard for a massive glow-up to become an antagonist to Luffy.
Remember inflation. In six years, Lokis bounty does indeed surpass Luffys by around 100 million berries.
Man on the Internet, you forgot to consider that, if Loki was really an Emperor, he will be pissed when he discovers the Luffy is now one
@@andrearitaccio7892 not really
Luffy > loki, most likely.
Funny thing is the last guy who called Shanks a Coward and wanted to kill Luffy was Buggy D. Clown
I thinl Loki is like young Oden in Wano, a big trouble maker that does what he wants. I wonder what's going to be his reaction if Nami comments " so, you are Lola's suitor..."
0:28 Errr I think that Loki just calling himself the sun god would be criminal enough for the WG 😅
im calling its, Kuzan will appear on Elbaph, it will give us the full circle of robins flashback. Kuzan has some nostalgia of her as a child as well after all.
I anticipate fictional pirate comics whenever he covers it very glad i was able to see this
I’m not to worried about Saul because aside from oda just needing a reason to delay his reunion with robin, both chopper and gerd (the giant pirate doctor) are making their way up the bridge to the elbaf village and that village is most likely where Saul is.
5:45
In Loki’s defense Luffy HAD just tried to cave in his skull just a few moments prior.
I really hope Elbaph covers the following:
- Nika / Joyboy lore
- Shanks background
- void century information since Elbaph was probably around at the time
- hopefully will see Vivi rejoin here
- a war between Luffy, Loki, Shanks, and hopefully some if not all of the Gods Knights for all of this to serve as a Ragnarok war that gets the final war truly started as…..
- SH next stop needs to be the meeting with RevArmy
Some comment in Merphy Napier's video about the chapter:
And also, Luffy's bounty is 3B and Loki's is 2.6B.
3+2.6= 5,6.
56 is gomu in japanese
Wait where'd he go?" - Black Beard in a year or two
Blackbeard frees Loki, asks him to kill shanks, then when Luffy in revenge defeats Loki, Blackbeard steals Loki's devil fruit
@@acandela1294nah Loki joining BB or BB getting his fruit would make no sense. It would just be Oda trying to make BB overpowered for the sake of being overpowered.
Well Luffy did say "don't talk trash about him" to his Grandfather, when Garp spoke ill of Shanks.
Also as we have seen during the law vs black beard fight that haki can also be a full counter to devil fruit powers so a bunch of sea prism stone would just be icing on the cake
How convenient that Jaguar D. Saul suddenly dying the moment Robin is ready to meet him again in their long awaited reunion.
Oda knows how to write frustrating stories sometimes huh
I’m surprised you didn’t mention how luffy‘a & loki’s bounty’s add up to 5.6mil, (56) luffy’s number & also go-mu lol it’s a nice little bonus
Saw that thought (of the 5.6Billion Beri combined Bounty) somewhere before, and this video seems to be a good place for my theory:
Loki got the Logia Fruit (Or Special Paramecia?
12:35 Luffy is wondering if he’s gonna have to share his meat with Loki too
Small mythology problem, you got it right the first time that the hammer is just heavy, the worthy part is just the MCU.
7:08 Maybe the chains were made to hold the OG JoyBoy / Nika, and Loki believes he actually is his reincarnation because they used the same chains on him
Would also tie in with the giant StrawHat
Ohh this is a good one
What makes me think that Loki isn’t an arc villain is that he is getting the Mimir treatment.
Yes this was the idea I had, but nobody considers it, everyone just wants Luffy to do it for no particular benefit.
I can't explain it, but Loki gives me Franky vibes where he is initially framed as an antagonist who ends up joining team strawhat. Too soon to start calling "crewmate" predictions but definitely thinking he'll be a big ally later.
Usopp befriends loki and then he helps fights blackbeard as the major arc antagonist
That just shows how fucking strong Shanks is 💀
Bro already beat a potential antagonist before the story started
I don't believe the chains are wrapped ALL the way around Ygddrassil. It looks miss like they're wrapped around one of the above ground roots. In the background, you can see another one of the roots coming off the tree and going down into the ground, with more than enough space between part of the root and the ground to wrap plenty of chains through. I'm like 95% positive, that's the kind of root Loki is chained to too.
If the chains were commissioned during the void century and were made to hold a giant with a devil fruit, that giant is probably Joyboy with the gum gum fruit and the chains were made by the world government while they found a way to kill him
True
Whoa this is the best theory I’ve ever heard!
12:10 Time taken doesn’t mean time wasted. Could be another purpose for the focus on the gloves for the final battle. Summoning of lightening via Mjolnier? Return of Enel? Blackbeard takes Kizaru’s DF?
Redhair stopped in Elbaph to get the key to Loki's chains because he knew Luffy would be arriving.
I've been watching you for a couple years now, It's about time i subscribed. Love the vids!
It also raises the question of who the Odin analog is going to be
1:59 Hold on, Wasn't Shiki an emperor of the sea? or was he a former warlord?
Warlord
I bet there's a giant CP agent in Elbaf.
i think imu turned all the citizens of the ancient kingdom into the sea kings
Luffy ain't lifting that hammer....Usopp is
0:18 King with one wing is a Sephiroth reference and I hope we see him again after Aramaki cheapshotted him and Queen.
Loki's dialogue also made me think of him being an evil NPC in an RPG, trying to put the player character on the evil ending route
also sanji is insanely skilled to be able to kick a specific intensity and wavelength of light out of all the photons already existing, hes able to kick the specific ones that make up kizarus light beam.
I think that him making friends with the forest animals like Luffy is all you need to see to know he's not a bad guy.
it's been ages since i have seen a raid shadow legends commercial
this is a "source: it came to me in a dream" kind of theory but what if the man that shanks went to talk about with the old man crew was Loki? his bounty could make sense if it was set after the reverie events and could also explain why the red hair pirates went to Elbaph of all places
i love all the art in your videos. seeing all the strawhats as animals is so funny
