I think you're on to some important stuff here - the 4 axes that I can think of for what matters are card advantage, tempo, floodgating, and otk sackery. We're both very card-advantage brained and I think tend to undervalue the others; frogs are by far the best card advantage deck, at the cost of being weaker in all other categories. Anyone trying to out-card advantage vs frogs will lose, but when people put advantage on the back burner and play towards their deck's strengths in the other 3 categories, it becomes a lot more balanced. Frogs good tho 👍
I didn’t play optimally. I’m quite new to the format and it was my first big edison tournament ever. This said, Beastmode played perfectly and that was what made the difference. Frog hero can get pretty bricky but the perfect build isn’t yet developed I think
During the first game after you summoned trag and beat over raiza, wouldnt msting the backrow been optimal during mp2 so that it would open a path for your spirit reaper next turn? At worst it would force him to set another roar but at least your mst got rid of another anti otk card. I understand you dont know what the facedown is but i think its still a decent gamble considering in most builds the primary set cards are roar and force.
@@beastmode123 a format that isn't relevent....I rest my case,try playing a real format,konami is talking about making a few besides,other then your area go to regional and ask if anyone knows that format...I can bet you not many.
@@kaito5ds right now I'm going by the report from last year where talking about adding new formats....this one you mentioned is not one.....but it's also fun to make up one to make things more interesting.......but in reality all we got is advance and traditional....hell there is a actual goat format which is true,but let's be real a Edison format...smh yugi oh community really has lost it now

Frogs play 2 Treeborn. Why do they play 2? Inxase 1 gets banished right? If the Treeborn gettinf abnished doesnt hurt them then why play 2?
It can hurt at times, a timed crow on a treefrog could shut them down, overall, they are able to with out treeborn
