Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! I wish I’ve known this earlier.. I used to place the camera frame by frame to get the orbiting effect.. Now it done in few seconds…! What’s amazing as well with this method one can still play around with depth of field / distance of the camera while orbiting with this method. big thumbs up!
Looks good. So for example, you could orbit a figure while it was walking using this method. Or you could perform once full circle, then bring the camera towards the figure and lower down then move the camera panning upwards across multiple circles each showing a close up of the clothing and figure finishing either at close-up head level or returning to the start position.
man this would be so much easier in blender. move 3d cursor to object, rotate around 3d cursor. im not talking about animation here im talking about just generaly getting the camera in the position that you want it to
