+matt2244 Indeed, i get depressed when i see that. There was a survey in my country (Denmark) 75% of people asked said that garbage next to roads and in the nature made them depressed. Later in the survey they were asked if they threw garbage out the window while driving, 72% clicked yes i do. That survey made my head hurt :( Also the fact that local tax would drop around 1% of total income if people would stop doing that. Conclusion, people love paying tax :)

I think the little crown thingie is the knob from a bedpost. Brass bedsteads used to be all the rage and I remember seeing shapes like that on some of them.

Hey Beeau, you were finding a lot of household goods in this area. Iron pipes, iron wire and angle iron parts are all from old cheap beds. Could've been from slave quarters when they were cleaned out and you know where all the trash that wouldn't burn was dumped, yep, in the river.
That Clothes Iron just reminded me, an aunt of mine took me to a spiritualist shop in Union City NJ once and i saw a wooden bin that had to have 20+ of those things in it. when I asked what they were about she told me practitioners put the live chicken's head under the handle so its stays on the altar before being sacrificed. so if you find a whole one there is a market for them still

love your videos!! i especially love your bottle dumps. i keep expecting you to pull up a wibbles birch beer bottle. my granddaddy grew up in PA and that was his favorite soda. mine too at the time. i know you arent from there but i thought they might have sold them in the surrounding states. him and my nannaw used to drive up there every fall for thanksgiving and to watch all the trees changing colors. they would always fill the trunk and back seat with cases upon cases of birch beer. oh, and i cant forget the big slab of hersheys chocolate they would purchase at the factory store. i blame them for me being a chunky kid. haha j/k. if you ever do come across any of those though i would love to buy one from you. a wooden wibble case would be even better so if you come across either plz let me know and we can work something out. thanks & hugs 😂
I have watched your vids for a long time. Great hunt there and I like the way you scope out the stream first before you get into it with your AT Pro. I haven't done a river search in a long while and wish I had here the Civil War stuff you have around there. Thanks for showing the cannonballs and those old irons. Man you find some great stuff. Been a drowned rat myself on occasion out in the middle of the woods! But it's usually summer and 90 degrees. GL & HH!!!
Could be the soldiers carried the irons with them to iron there uniforms I really like you channel very informative and educational the way you explain things you find my 7 year old son calls you the treasure teacher lol he always ask to watch your videos
Great Job! I just bought an iron for my wood stove for 15. 00 and could use as a door stop or break up wall nuts!!! I got caught like that while fly fishing and next time in this situation I'll bring up a small folding umbrella. Just starting to metal detect creeks. thanks for the video.

i got stuck in rain like that in a canoe with a friend of mine. we stayed in the canoe, under a "dirt ledge" because the banks of the river were too high for too long of a stretch to land the canoe.

5:05 there appears to be two rings you missed
It looked liked there were at least 4 or 5 rings I saw w/stones
I tought they were rings to but it appears to be shells of something
That was bugging me then the one looked like a shell like a clam

Ever think about using one of those "Gopher" grabber tools? Might help you snag things that are in those deeper spots with heavy currents.
