This reminded me of when I traveled to Denver for work and walked up a flight of stairs. I only went up one floor but was so tired 😂

I love your videos and am glad I found your channel! Do you have any recommendations on a good seasonal job with housing? I wanted to do the YMCA but the room and board was to expensive. I really wanna do a job in Alaska.

Thanks, hon! I know unfortunately the Y's room and board is quite high, I'll be talking about that in the future. I'll also be talking about the jobs I've applied to for this summer, since you've asked I'll go ahead and tell you I applied to a job in Alaska recently😃 that actually has no housing cost. I found it on cool works, of course, it's called Experience Alaska Tours. Maybe check that one out, there have been a lot of Alaska jobs added to cool works recently as well as some other ones.

Hi! Thanks for making these videos about the ymca, I'm trying to find where I want to go next! Do you think the food there is compatible with a vegetarian diet? And what are the current vaccine/ mask policies?

While the food may be lacking in seasoning they often have Tempah, tofu, and either veggie burgers or the impossible burgers and sides like sweet potatoes, quinoa, and chickpeas. Also a regular if not plain salad bar and some, sometimes good pasta salads. As of now, there is no longer a mask mandate, some people still choose to wear them while others don't. Also as of now, they're still requiring staff to have the vaccine + booster.

Do you know if they hire 16 year olds?

I don't believe they do, but I know they have internships. So you might want to query their HR team.
