Love is a feeling. What makes a guy fall for a girl is bc he feels something differen't for her, a connection with her that he doesn't feel with any other girl which will make her stand out from the other girls to him same vice versa with girls falling for a guy.

Guess this is what happened to me in 2005 when I told a pretty girl named Amanda I had known since high school and was crushing on hard in college about my upbringing and how I was born with lots of physical problems that required surgeries to get me to function like a healthy person free of extensive physical assistance like breathing machines (although the doctors initially suggested an abortion since I guess they didn't want my mom to go through the frustration of raising a low-quality or less than ideally healthy baby). As soon as the word "abort" left my mouth, Amy's whole face drooped with sadness and she sighed with pity. After that, every time I saw her instead of just smiling and waving all happy when she saw me she shifted between that and frowning worriedly (almost like she were getting ready to cry) I guess out of deep concern for me. I guess that bit of backstory was enough of a cannonball to really get her emotionally hooked on me in terms of wanting to help me or check up on me from time to time. Due to introversion and an abusive upbringing, I'm more comfortable alone than with others and find any kind of direct attention whether positive (compassion) or negative (aggression) to be extremely invasive.

I think your situation can be helped. you should be best friends with someone, who you can share everything with and vice versa and then develop feelings years later and go into that partner mode with them. But only after you’ve shared everything and every side of you, so that even when u don’t want to share, they already know what she/he already knows what ur going through and how to deal with it. Or maybe u won’t even have a problem sharing because ull be best friends first

I told the guy I like him, he said nothing back he remains friendly like nothing happened. He’s very open when talking about things to me , he wants to help out with things I’m needing help with, he knows I love the muscle shirt he wears. But wears them most the time. He trust me. I've got a question - I was a friend with the guy who told me three times that he revealed me sth he hadn't told anyone else. Then, after 2 months, I got to know he had a girlfriend and thought - okay, so he treated me rather as a friend. I thought he did not like me physically. BUT, when they split up, he wanted to be friends with benefits with me and someone told me guys treat this way women they have sexual feelings for but do not like their personality. There was a guy that I had what I guess you'd call a "FWB's" type of relationship with for about 18 months. In the BEGINNING it wasn't what I'd call "HOT-N-HEAVY" or anything like THAT....but there were times where we'd hangout, hook-up, Netflix and chill, WHATEVER you wanna call it...sometimes 2 or 3 times in a week....but that was probably just for the first 3 or 4 weeks and it averaged more around 2 times a week than 3. Anyway, his ON AGAIN/OFF AGAIN baby mama with whom he had a VERY TUMULTUOUS relationship with ended up finding out about us and unfortunately the kicker is that she was somewhat of an "OLD" friend of mine so to speak. Well, I DID feel a little bad for her after she had found out....not because we had once had a "SPECIAL" friendship so to speak....but because I had JUST been cheated on MYSELF only 6 months earlier by my husband of almost 17 yrs and I just KNEW how much it HURT. But the simple fact of the matter was....SHE had been out running all over town with a DIFFERENT GUY anyway and had told me a billion times before that she wanted NOTHING to do with her baby daddy. So when he sent me a friend request on Facebook one night....I couldn't help but ACCEPT it and just say "Hey, how's it going?" because I'd be LYING if I said I WASN'T attracted to him because I MOST DEFINITELY WAS. And don't get me wrong.....I am NOT the "HOMEWRECKING" HUSSY type some might think I SOUND like.....it's just that the so called "FRIENDSHIP" between HER and I had ENDED so many months PRIOR due to her stealing money from me and then HE came along and I just felt like we SERIOUSLY clicked with one another and he was just SO MUCH like ME in SO MANY WAYS. Although he IS 11 yrs YOUNGER than I am.....I've been told a lot that I don't LOOK like I'm 42 and DEFINITELY don't ACT like I AM.....Lol. Anyway....it DIDN'T TAKE LONG to figure out that after so many months of him and I hanging out and being INTIMATE with one another.....I began developing DEEPER feelings for HIM to where I just didn't WANT to be seen as a "BOOTY CALL" or "BENCH WARMER" for him while he sat around and WAITED on his BM to come around and leave ALL of her "SIDE DUDES" because it EVENTUALLY came out that he WAS still MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER and had MOST LIKELY just been USING ME as a means of making HER jealous. Eventually she did find out but I never did find out the truth as to whether he admitted it or she actually figured it out on and on HER OWN. Needless to say..... I spent about 12 months of my life trying to figure out how to get him to fall in love with me and put her to the back of his mind to no avail. What's even MORE interesting is that just 2 months ago I had fronted him $60 to help him out between his paydays and he told me he'd pay me back 2 paydays later and that came and went....so I tried contacting him NUMEROUS times via text messages and NEVER heard a SINGLE THING from him so I began to get a little worried because he'd never done that to me.....NOT when he had OWED ME MONEY anyway. Well, almost 3 weeks from the day I fronted him the money....an officer called me asking me questions claiming that he was investigating an incident that involved HIM, his baby mama and her new boyfriend/fiance. Well, he was ALREADY on probation for having stabbed 2 dudes in 2011 in what he claimed was SELF DEFENSE and ALSO wasn't SUPPOSED to be ANYWHERE NEAR his baby mama either. I immediately just figured he had already been arrested and was in jail. The officer didn't tell me one way or the other whether HE WAS in jail or NOT....so I basically just had to ask around. Well, THAT SAME NIGHT I just so happened to be watching the news and all of a sudden I see a picture come up on the screen of HIS apartment building and the news anchor talking about some LOVE TRIANGLE that had resulted in one man being badly injured and was in CRITICAL CONDITION at a local hospital and that THE SUSPECT who LIVED in the apartment had been involved in a 6 hr standoff with police and the SWAT team before they FINALLY entered his residence and brought him out. Yup...my JAW literally just dropped to the ground as I just COULDN'T BELIEVE what I was even SEEING or HEARING. Then the REALITY of it all REALLY sank in when I saw a clip of a couple SWAT officers walking him down the sidewalk in cuffs. I just wanted to CRY!!!! Actually, I DID CRY because I had just watched the man I'd FALLEN IN LOVE WITH over a period of 17 MONTHS possibly take his LAST WALK down a sidewalk as a FREE MAN as they're saying officers supposedly recovered ENOUGH evidence from inside his apartment to possibly charge him with 1st degree attempted murder. I mean SERIOUSLY!?!?!?! I KNEW he was a little off his rocker when it came to how he felt about his baby mama....but supposedly he HATED the fact that she DIDN'T WANT HIM ANYMORE.....so HE was WILLING to TRY and take both HER and her new boyfriend's LIVES and ended up attacking her boyfriend with ACID by dumping it over his head when he got approached by him as he'd made a THREATENING STATEMENT to BOTH OF THEM by telling them he was going to kill them and then said "I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS". It's SO SAD though because he had SO MUCH POTENTIAL and had 2 beautiful baby girls that love him dearly who may very likely NEVER see him again OUTSIDE of a JAIL or PRISON. Sorry for the LONG story....but I just wanted to tell it I guess because I tried to get THAT DUDE to LOVE ME vs. his crazy ex baby mama....but then was able to see just WHAT it LOOKS LIKE when HE SUPPOSEDLY DOES LOVE a WOMAN.....he LOVES them so much that he's WILLING to murder them if HE can't have them 😫

lol ik this was like a year ago but if ur ever in the situation again or if ur still in the same one, girl you deserve so much better. And clearly a guy who is going with a girl who's already hurt him in the past has some sort of emotional damage, and you want someone that knows who they are and is strong mentally so they can give a whole love and relationship.
