I don’t know why, but this game attracts some pompous people with money to burn and they love to let you know that they don’t care that they spent $60 on a dozen balls. But for the rest of us, we care about value. I play the Vice Tour occasionally to save money, even though I prefer the Pro. That’s why we come to this channel instead of the big golf publications.
Appreciate the feedback from both of you guys. Another thing that kind of messes with my sense of reality is the fact that I work at cabot. I constantly am seeing guys come in and drop thousands of dollars on a golf trip and they couldn't give a darn less how much they spend on golf balls. When I see that all week long sometimes it alters my perception of reality.

I have used white, yellow, red and orange golf balls but find that by far the yellow ones are the easiest to spot on or off the fairway. Based on your reviews I have purchased Wilson Zip and Wilson Boost balls and am looking forward to trying them out. Too bad they only come in white and that according to Wilson Customer Service are no longer being manufactured. I am glad at least that Pinnacle Rush comes in yellow. I look forward to your top 100.
I'm excited to watch the list! I really appreciate Wilson and that they let you customize a dozen by itself, unlike bigger brands where you have to do 6 dozen. I love customizing golf balls with my companies logo. I'm really liking Wilson and Seed Golf right now. Appreciate all you do to test
I actually did not know that about wilson. That's awesome. I tried to customize some TP fives recently and although it wasn't six dozen it was still two. I don't want to buy that many.
Hi, Happy New Year. I just want to thank you for helping me fine tune my game by helping me do a personal golf ball fitting quest. I have cut 5 stokes average off my game last year. 2025 I will be trying to move to a Matte ball to assist me with the visual location of my ball. I am now trying some balls you recommend that fit my gaming needs. Thanks
It seems counterintuitive but I find the matte green (almost like a tennis ball) the easiest to see on the ground (no problems with clover or dandelions) although I frequently have trouble seeing them actually land after the ball is most of the way through its descent. I like the green matte Titleist Velocity and the green matte Maxfli balls.
@@toddc3988agreed! I had the opportunity to visit family in FL and picked up my first box. I have been quite pleased with performance and value of the Wilson BOOST. Thanks Nick for highlighting a ball I likely would have walked by at Walmart!
Excited to see the list, but I also agree wish you used the 50 yard pitch as a category. Everyone says they need spin to stick the greens, but many would be surprised at how many cheaper 2 pieces now spin just as much as their tour golf ball of choice and go further with other clubs because a high handicap can compress them.
That's very true. I agree 100%. The good news is, I did give certain balls bonus points if they really did excellent in that category. The speed soft ink is a prime example

Thanks for putting so much emphasis on value. For us average golfers, paying a premium for minimal performance gain just doesn't make sense. Ultimately we are the biggest variable in our score, not the ball.
Make sure to review the new version of Inesis Tour 900. Heard it's longer with less spin. Still $29 a dozen here in Thailand 🇹🇭. I'm playing with a v5 q star tour, and greenside spin is amazing 👏 🤩
Trust me my brother. I really wish I could. I have been checking their website all year long. I desperately wish to test that ball because it was a top 10 model. One of my favorites of all time. I heard they also made really good improvements. But if I can't get it I can't get it 😞
Hate to say it but aren’t the Callaway Superfast discontinued also? I really hope not. Wish they’d put as much color/design variety into that ball instead of the Supersoft. Superfast has been a great ball

That's one reason why many of them are in that tax bracket to begin with.

Yes they are discontinued but they're still available for purchase. I imagine they'll run out in spring of 2025
