Probably you have never visited South of India! Sanatana Dharma is part and parcel of our lives all along!! We never knew who Ramanand Sagar was, but, we always know who NTR was !! He is such an epitome of acting like SRI RAMA or SRI KRISHNA in Indian Ithihasas and Puranas like, Ramayana and Maha Bharatha, etc., The actor who has donned the role of Rama, in that TV series, has inspired by likes of NTR only !! Most of those movies I can list here, if you want, go and watch with sub-titles in English or Hindi. Then you will understand !! And many of them are shot in 1950s 1960s and 1970s !!! From the likes of directors of KV Reddy, K Kameshwara Rao etc., ONE such movie is VOTED AS THE BEST MOVIE EVER from last 100 years of INDIAN CINEMA, it is : MAYA BAZAAR !! KVReddy directorial and NTR was Sri Krishna in it. So, don't make some middle appearing people as great men, the real heros were many before them !! IT's just that you don't know about them!! Yeah, I forgot to mention, most of those movies are in TELUGU !! Of course, they also are there in other south languages !!
