Dan's vocals are stellar, once again. A wise homage to Dickinson, but Vascarized!!! I think a huge part of the prowess of this cover is Victor's amazing talents on the instruments. Dan said that TH-cam initially demonitized the video because someone thought they had used Maidens orginal track for the guitars. He disputed and its fixed now, but wow!, Victor is a force!!

Dan’s descending fry scream is fire!!! Dan is a VOCAL BEAST, and he slays this rendition, in my opinion. Victor the Guitar Nerd is a phenomenal, outrageously gifted musician that is just straight up heavenly! I love the dramatic video work, too that Dan did! Dan Vasc is simply the best of the best. This New Halloween video he just dropped is phenomenal. He takes the song to anther level. Victor The Guitar Nerd nailed it. The instrumentation is nothing but flawless. FearTheBeardo did a great intro,as well.
Dan is getting better and better and he's really taking his covers to another level,raising the bar in terms of quality. We can notice a significant improvement in all aspects,overtime.

Dan has said that in the future he thought he would tour but had other priorities first. Some videos do exist of his performances of the song Carry On (a cover of Angra's version) with Luis Mariutti and there's an early video of his performance with his band Fearless. He always looks like he is having so much fun onstage. These are grainy cell phone videos but I find them fun to watch for his enthusiasm and interaction with the crowd. I agree that this production would be outstanding as a live performance! Great reaction and thank you.

Yes, this is a great song which Dan wrote the lyrics for... I love that he is getting the recognition he absolutely deserves from his peers within the metal scene in Brazil, now he needs to gain the same internationally. I would love to see him perform live but, sadly, travel to Brazil is not on the cards for me, and I dare say, a great many of his followers and devotees,,, so I shall continue to enjoy whatever he puts up on the interwebs for as long as he continues to do so and support him in whichever way I can be that merch, music or simply liking and commenting on each video ❣️

Dan occasionally will go out with friends and do something in a bar setting or a small venue. However, he has no desire to tour. Victor does go on tour I don’t know who he plays with. You’ll have to go back and look at some of Dan‘s life streaming to get this little bits of information that I’m giving you now lol.

Well said, all around, sir! Thank you very much. Dan DOES perform live every once in a while, but not a whole lot. From what I've observed, it's usually at special conventions for groups celebrating anniversaries of their beginnings, and such.
Then there are his semi-live, acoustic performances with Gabriel Belozi, with the small array of videos they did a while back, called Spyglass Inn (there's a playlist on his channel). The first one in the group is "Loch Lomond," which was filmed completely live, outdoors. It's wonderful. 😀

I am a huge fan of Dan Vasc! Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands. My very first concert ever was Iron Maiden at 12 in 1983 and again in 1985. I saw them sometime in the last decade as well. My daughter’s first concert ever was Iron Maiden when she was 10. I have to say that Dan’s version of this song is by far the best cover that I have ever heard. It’s very difficult to try to sound as good as Bruce Dickinson. Way to go Dan! Phenomenal!!!

I'm so glad you mentioned the difference in the video production. There are barely any shots of Vasc’s face that aren’t shadowed, as well as it being in black and white. Previous videos have the camera focused on his face in close-up. In this video, he places the emphasis squarely on the music and away from himself. A step in the right direction?

This song is based on a dream/nightmare Steve Harris had after watching the horror movie the Omen 2.
If you watch the original song "The Number of the Beast" video by Iron Maiden the guy in the red devil suit is now the current drummer Nicko McBrain, who is a massive Christian. Clive Burr was the drummer at the time.

I have to say that I've never heard the original. Dan has introduced me to new music over the past year. Can't say this is a favorite of mine, but he did a great job with it, and created a new style of video as well. As far as I know, Dan doesn't do a lot of live performances, other than when he is recording his videos. In your expert opinion, if he was doing live performances on a regular basis, would he be able to keep up the strength of his voice, or would he be straining it? Just wondering.
