before folks criticize him, remember this, he started out doing impressions of singers, from that, to this, is not easy, he has not had a lifetime of training his voice for the rigors of singing professionally at the vocal level of a Steve Perry. His voice could actually burn out pretty quick because his vocal cords have not been conditioned over years to take the stress, like Steven Tyler, etc. And after all these years, Steven Tyler's vice is done and damaged beyond repair. please give this guy a break.
There’s no question he has lost power in his voice. He’s not hitting these vocals as strongly and his voice is not quite hitting the higher levels. There are definitely vocal problems which I would imagine a Class A vocal coach could work with Arnel on.

I don’t like it. Just my opinion. Steve Perry is the only one that can sing this with heart and make you feel it deep in your soul.
