8:42 coolest thing ive ever been evacuated from was actually the safari at animal kingdom. one of the caravans ahead of us started leaking antifreeze, and for the safety of the animals it had to be cleaned up immediately, so they took us up a side road through the back lots of the safari. the cast member was an absolute GEM and he said “i still wanna give yall a cool ride, so ill do a little tour, sorry it’s not as fun” and did his best. he pointed out the “fake sun,” which was cool to see, and we also saw where they grow the plants and trees for the safari, the food they feed the animals, the stables for the veterinarians, etc. it turned into one of my favourite disney world experiences ever, and i’ll never forget that cast member doing what he can to make it more special. i saw the animal kingdom special on d+ after and was like “omg i’ve been there!” 😂 a truly unique experience and i loved it
@@swolerabbit Seeing all of the backstage areas at AK and knowing how much work goes on behind the scenes at Animal Kingdom definitely made it my favorite park!! My dream job would be to work there for sure.
Thank you for these Podcasts. I love the news videos as well as the comedy news shows. But this Podcast is more relaxed, less scripted, and feels like having a conversation with both of you and any guests. The topics have been great and can't wait to see what's to come. Maybe an episode on cruises, comparing the different ships and locations they sail to.
Always look forward to these podcasts each week. Thanks for keeping this going. Agree with Disneyland Paris. It is almost like Disney Studios is just another land because it is so easy to go between the parks.
I just want to say, I started watching out of a bit of spite to goof on the channel, but you guys have won me over with these podcasts. I'll admit when I'm wrong. I'm now throughly enjoying your content guys. Good stuff.
Woo! Got my Gertie order in! I've been a lifetime Disney goer and I love that you guys have created this plush. I can't wait to add it to my Disney memorabilia shelf. I've got a Skippy plush from back when I was a kid too!
I'd love to hear you guys go more into the deep cut live action films! I grew up with those more than the animated films, because my dad wanted to show my brother and I what he saw on Sunday nights. I think my favorites have to be the Scottish movies like Greyfriars Bobby and Three Lives of Thomasina and Rob Roy. I also keep waiting for Disney to realize that Condorman is just sitting there waiting for a remake, but I don't think that bird will fly anytime soon.
The Legend of Mythica was the most creative and gorgeous show at DisneySea ever, and Bon Fire Dance and Mysterious Masquerade were also perfect fit for DisneySea. I miss Tokyo parks that used to offer such beautiful and imaginative shows, I don't think OLC would ever bring back such great shows again... Great podcast as always!
OMG!! my jaw dropped y'all answered my question and it was the very last one!! I definitely will be watching those movies this week, I've never even heard of Blackbeards Ghost! My favorite is Alice in Wonderland.
Still didn’t get to my question! Still love you guys, and I can’t wait for my Gertie plush!!! My baby will grow up with Gertie! Can’t wait to see how mind blown she is when she sees the big one in Hollywood studios, then the subsequent mind blowing when she realizes the big one is full of ice cream 😝
Also loved the park design and would love to "see" them- like a map or something! I always thought it would be cool to have a retro-park, where old stuff could go to live- Horizons, Dream Flight, Mr. Toad (I know it's in DL, but I love it), Osbourne Lights... It wouldn't be "coherent" with rides and attractions, but I think it work and I think people will come, Ray. Well, maybe...
Wouldn’t a podcast about the Hollywood studios expansion be a great Video. To see if what it replaced was worse or better. I haven’t really seen anyone talk about it. Great show
I was evacuated off Peter Pan and they have ladders hidden they pulled out. They were very careful and it took forever. We walked in London and in the nursery.
Any time you talk about Gertie, I think about the Loch Ness Monster that used to be on the grass next to the moat right by Cinderella's Castle when Magic Kingdom first opened! Yes, I have this cute monster in photos from when I was a toddler. What ever happened to it? Did it evolve to become Gertie?
wtf Eric?! Buck Tui is right down the street from where I live! I've been wanting to check it out. Now I think I'm going to have to. 🤣 Also, aww you made me miss the Zinger... I loved that and Orient Express as a kid.
Thanks for answering my question about the Paris E ticket. I understand what you mean about the parks being on top of each other but I think the rumoured lion king attraction would fit into Adventureland much better than studios. I also love the idea of a jungle book attraction as that film doesn’t get the respect it deserves in the parks, however my dream would be a lilo and stitch ride especially if the live action film is a hit.
The Efteling is amazing, given the location (we were staying super close for a music festival and were able to just hop on a city bus over), the price (cheap!), and the whole aesthetic.
Disneyland Paris definitely needs the upcoming California marvel dark ride. They also need to fix space mountain, years and years later and we still have that ridiculous hyperspace mountain
My ex-boyfriend is from KC and he took me to Oklahoma Joes in Catoosa years ago and I still dream of it!! I buy their sauce and seasoning online too :) Also Everglazed is my favorite spot in Disney Springs, there’s never a line when I go it’s perfect.
It’s mentioned pretty early on the the “Stark expo” idea but this is why really think Tron should be Epcot and Guardians should’ve been Magic kingdom. Now i get it’s largely a space thing (aha) but… I mean Tron (at least Tron classic! Before they went ‘cool lights ooooo’ generic sci fi with legacy) was about computer technology and companies. You really could do like an Encom booth/showcase type thing for the ride but then also maybe a literal expo both area sort of old style Epcot way? Like classic lightcycles to pose with and some cool fake tech advancements by the company true edutainment style. Where as guardians as fun and fantastic as it is, is just a IP coaster and could’ve been anywhere.
It's interesting to hear Tom's views on Discovery Island and whether or not Disney will ever use it again. Personally, like Tom, I hope that Disney leave it alone and let nature reclaim it. To be honest i find it rather crazy and kinda cool that right in the middle of the vacation kingdom of the world, and with millions of people passing near to it every year, there sits a genuine lost world in Discovery Island. There could be dinosaurs on that thing now for all we know....
❤ Horizons, Eric Nothing wrong with preachy when you’re Christian, Tom. I understand and empathize for people who are not, but the shows if anything preach to the choir. Also, it’s CHRISTmas 😉
Eric is so genuine. Appreciate him and his warmth.

It's so cool back there!! I saw it on the Caring for Giants Elephant tour.

I love how seriously yall took creating your own park. These are conversations I thought only my family had❤
My wife and I took our first cruise together for our honeymoon on Disney’s Big Red Boat in October 1991. The OG of Disney cruises!😉
Eric: "What's the best land at Magic Kingdom?"
Tom: "I don't know. They're all kinda bad." 😆
Hilarious how many ride evacuation experiences Tom has 😂

You guys are the best. In the Disney world and parks thank you for your hard work and dedication.
As soon as the business decision question was asked, I knew the response would be hiring Eric 😆

My new favorite Disney podcast
Loved the impromptu park designing! Really enjoying the podcast - thanks!

“Well you can work in imagineering now.”

I think you should wear the same shirts every episode
O Wondrous Night is great. The three kings at Busch Gardens is also a really nice show.
First coaster - The Comet at HersheyPark, and First loop caoster - Same place SooperDooperLooper :)

Disney Ride that could be a movie. Carousel of Progress. Make it a time travel film.
To keep Carousel relevant, how would you upgrade the last scene to make it futuristic? What theming?
Did you guys know there is a Reese‘s peanut butter cup commercial that ran prior to this video?
lol
The 5th gate...🤪😂😂😂...
Why would be a Disney museum not be kid friendly?
I was hoping you were gonna continue with the best bathrooms
Zero Gravity Dog Food - Because what goes down MUST NOT come back up!
Haha Still Twins 😂
Who gets to be Danny DeVito? 😊
Put the Disneyland Peoplemover back and get it running, renovate the guide way. The ride I a nice tour of the land.

Food Item has to be a handwich bar.
Hot take but other than Disneyland's Fantasmic. My favorite theme park show ever is Believe which ran at seaworld from 2006-2011
I’d just bring back Tomorrowland 2055 at DL…or Sci Fi City lol

Why isn’t there an actual animatronic of Walt Disney himself?
Am I off, but adventure land in MK is the pick, jungle cruise, pirates, spring roll cart , shipper canteen and aloha isle😊
Tom never saw OG Space Mountain at DLP alas.
Tom loves Pasta Pasta. I believe believe it. JK. Tom's great.
Tom needed some coffee or something during this discussion - I thought he was asleep most of the time

Tom you forgot O.G World of Color in your top 5 live shows
There’s no actors in it, I’m not sure it counts
Did Tom say the streaming ticket was half off at $10? When I go to the site, it still comes up as $20.
Early bird is directly above that and is $10
If you're going to Brazil you now need a Visa.
Have you heard a date for Tiana's Bayou Adventure Eric and Tom?
