About Splash Mountain, look up Tony Baxter talking about the creation on it. He worked with the NWACP and ran it for test groups before they went forward with it. Brer Bear was voiced by Nick Stewart who voiced him in the movie.
If I was an Imagineer, the project I would support would be a real extension of Animal Kingdom called “The Americas.” Add 30% more land/ capacity to the park. And my attraction I would push would be Yzmas Lair Rollercoaster. Using Guardians coaster tech, with a tower of terror style drop for the “wrong lever” scene. Animatronic heavy, and screens only for special effects.

The characters from splash werent racist, the characters were voiced by black voice actors on song of the south and on splash nountain, with the exception of brer rabbit on splash mountain. Brer bear, brer fox, and brer frog sounded black because they were voiced by black people, nick stewart the original voice actor for Brer Bear happily voiced brer bear again for disneylands splash before he passed away. Splash absolutely wasnt racist at all. I can understand people having issues with song of the south, but splash was not at all like that film and was a seperation, it literally was just a ride about the tales of brer rabbit and the brers werent problematic at all. The fact that Tom doesn’t know the story of Nick Stewart, the voice of Brer bear in a voice he created And how this character was the highlight of his life and how he would bring his family to see this attraction that he was so proud to be in until his death. The dialect in Splash Mountain is a legitimate black dialect called Gullah that was and still is used in traditional black storytelling. Also, most of the characters in the ride are voiced by black people. Please educate yourself before spreading misinformation like this.
Also, Tony Baxter worked alongside the NAACP while making the attraction. The same group who originally protested Song of the South gave him the clear. They liked the ride.
They ruined the carrot cake cookie. Filling is gummy.
I miss REAL castle stage shows
I respectfully disagree with your opinion about the hanging man in Haunted Mansion. That could easily be changed without greatly impacting the ride. I personally think that the hanging man should and will be changed in the next 5 years.
Mickey pretzel
The cheese isn’t warm which really grinds my gears though
Light parade? When ?
The fact that Tom doesn’t know the story of Nick Stewart, the voice of Brer bear in a voice he created And how this character was the highlight of his life and how he would bring his family to see this attraction that he was so proud to be in until his death. And his family was fighting to keep it.. it’s very insulting to the family of Nick Stewart. This ride in this character with everything to this family and Disney doing what they did is extremely insulting to the black ccommunity and this family. That ride needed to stay
. Oh and the fact the only person that was by a white person was Brer Rabbit in the attraction. The only people offended by this ride are 20 something white people that are told to dislike it through social media and think they are making a difference.
Is this not on the podcast feed?

I thought for sure it was PC Dev that Eric had eluded to when he described the encounter on an earlier episode. If I see you in the park I am going to ask about it!
What episode? I watch PCdev 😭
@@user-fe8uq9zp2g it was one of the first Podcast they did. Eric mentioned being stared down while he was in a bar but didn't mention who it was, thus leading to the speculation of which potential Disney Vloggers could be viewed as confrontational.....I don't recall exactly which podcast it was.
they def need to update soarin. the video is starting to look dated. 8k or more
Do they have hurricanes in Germany?
Tom, when are you going to marry your girlfriend??? Or, ARW you married??? Love your show by the way AND all you honest opinions/thoughts too!!!
Re: Pirates. Alcoholism and gun violence will never rise to the level of *selling women*. I understand it may be difficult for the two of you to understand, but imagine instead of a woman, they were selling a Black person? Because that also happened in history. Would your views change then?
