There was a case stockman in the display case for months and I didn't buy it. The scales were beautiful. Now I wonder if it had problems. Rough Rider is better. Thanks for the info.
Good comparison mate it's such a shame case can't quite get on top of there fit and Finnish. But that's not RR fault and there killing it right now. Atb paddy 👍☘️😃
With cheaper knives, any flaws can be overlooked as long as the knife functions and is still looks good. With more expensive knives, smallest flaws make you want to return it. Smaller knife makers who make quality knives will stand by their work and go out of their way to accept returns and make replacements. With mass production companies like Case, it is a hit and miss with quality and service. When I get a Rough Ryder knife, I don't realy have high expectations and if I keep getting bad knives, I just simply stop buying them. But if I were to order a Case knife and it was a bad knife, I would be aggravated. And that would ruin the entire hobby for me. There is absolutely no excuse for any premium knife company to allow a flawed product out for their factory. IMO.
I agree with you 100% Case knifes are not worth nearly three times the price of a Rough Rider. Their quality control and pride in their workmanship is non existent. I have stopped buying Case knifes, if I want a quality folding pocket knife I will buy a GEC. Good review Best Wishes Kevin
Rough Rider's are the way to go. I'm in my 60's and I've never owned a Case knife. If I want a more fancy traditional, I'll save up for a GEC. I think I'll just skip Case.

There is no denying that Rough Ryder makes a nice knife.
