I have a perm that's about right above my shoulders.I find the front pieces always get frizzy.I have tried just gel and finger coil but then it looks like it's going the wrong way...lol Any suggestions for keeping those front pieces looking healthy and moisterized? By the way your hair really is beautiful, so healthy looking!

Another Innersense product for refreshing is their I Create Lift foam. It works great for fine wavy hair.

Thank you for sharing that! I chose not to use it for refreshing because it gives me a lot of frizz but this could be helpful for other fine, wavies. Thank you for watching!

Yes! I like to use that the next morning (I wash at night & sleep in the cast) if I wake up with zero cast. If I have zero cast in humidity, my hair will NOT look right within a few hours lol. I sometimes use that to dry refresh day 3 or 4 curls if they're getting overly limp

Hi there, I just watched a number of your videos and just wanted to congratulate you on your channel and wish you much success with it. I find your videos very informative and you take the time to thoroughly explain how and why the products are or are not working for you. Your explanations are clear and your experience shines through. I have been using the Hydrakng IS line as well and trying to find out what my hair “likes” and doesn’t. Not easy… I have yet to find the magic bullet although I am thinking that mg hair may like protein so it is helpful that you poi t how not only if products have protein but also if they are light or heavy on it…anyhow, one question..do you worry about silicones? I’ve been wanting to try an oil but they are heavy on silicones which I have been avoiding

Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. I do not worry about silicones. I’ve been using products with silicones in them for 30 years. Thank you for watching!

Completely unrelated to this video (sorry lol), I just wanted to know if you've ever heard of flaxseed gels causing flash drying? I've just been trying to research this & can't find a thing that mentions flax seed as a possible culprit & I wondered if maybe you'd come across someone this has happened to? I know people who say aloe causes it for them, or a combo of aloe & proteins or something. Is it something that, for some scientific reason or another can only happen with those ingredients if it's going to happen, or can it be caused by basically whatever depending on the person?

No worries about the unrelated, I don’t mind! I’ve not heard of nor seen flaxseed gels causing flash drying at all. I generally hear great things about them. Mostly depends on the person. There are tendencies of certain things causing it but there’s a lot of other variables coming together that can cause it as well. Like other ingredients it’s combined with, an individual’s hair, etc. Another thing to remember is that everything comes out in our hair. Everything. Hair can be tested to determine long term drug use so it stands to reason that things can affect how your hair reacts to different ingredients based on what’s coming out of your body (and going into it). Not sure if this answer was particularly helpful but this was definitely an interesting question! Thank you for the brain jumpstart! Lol
