I appreciate your hard work staying after hours to shoot these. I’m surprised not to have seen more of this type of content following HomeGymCon. Thanks and keep it coming.
Thanks! It was me and one other guy until about 11. I stayed until 1:30, but had to be up at 5 the next day, so called it a night. Next year, I'm going to do a ton more stuff like this as I won't be working during the day for someone else, just there on my own. I've got a few more like this to edit and post!
It was really fun. Like a giant playground! If I wasn't on 3 hours of sleep and at the end of a 16 hour day, I could have had even more fun! And yeah, Fringe really impressed me with all of their stuff. Great company and great people all around!
For sure! I don't have much of their stuff outside of bumpers and I'm really glad I got to see so much of it at the show. It turned me into a bigger fan for sure!
Good stuff. The size of something like this makes a lot of sense for people with space limitations. Bought a like new used rogue TB2 and am never looking back, it is a beast, but honestly it is perfect.
I found your channel after the GGR open letter, unsubbed from there and subbed to here, you're doing amazing work man, I really appreciate this. I know this isn't related to this particular video and I apologize but I was watching a GGR video where he compared the rep Colorado bar to the rogue Ohio bar and his conclusion was that the rep one is the same thing but cheaper but you should still buy the rogue and that really rubbed me the wrong way and soured his videos for me. You seem honest thus far and I look forward to exploring your current repertoire of videos and seeing what you have in store for the future
Tnanks! And yeah, those are exactly the videos I was referring to in my video. Just kind of made me scratch my head and wonder what was up. Appreciate your feedback! Lots more to come and if you ever think I'm not being honest, please call me out! It's my #1 concern.
Great video. If you had unlimited space, would Rep fitness be your choice? I'm looking to purchase the rep otb soon. I don't have unlimited space but quality and a balanced bar means a lot to me. Also I didn't like how the Midas bar tipped with weight on one side. Does the rep bar tip ?
Yeah, you can't beat the Rep bar. I'm redoing my entire garage gym right now and it's one of the things that is staying. It's the best OTB on the market by a wide margin if you have the room. Rep bar is perfectly balanced and doesn't tip at all.
At 47 lbs, I bet they could 1.5 lbs to each jack stand to give you the balance you're looking for and make math easier when adding plates at the same time. Also, that's a bit too tight inside for me. If they widened it and made those minor changes, I think they'd fly off the shelves (of the internet, lol).
Yeah, it's def small inside and doesn't allow much more than a traditional stance. I think it's more of a solution piece than something that's right for everyone. I'm not replacing my Rep OTB any time soon. And I agree, a couple of small weights in the jack stands and it would have balance perfectly. It wouldn't have taken much.
Love the Gold sleeves and the size of the trap bar. Wish you would've said the price but that's okay I never used a trap bar and probably wont be buying it. Just not an exercise our coaches had us do. It kinda looks simple though compared to other trap bars I've seen but like I said I know nothing about using one. Honestly, though take th ed gold sleeves off and the black powder coat and it looks like a Wal Mart trap bar.
$299 right now. I had no idea at the time, but don't really like to give prices in the product overviews that often. The videos will be up for a long time and prices change. I love using a trap bar. It's a great way to combine squatting and hinging in the same exercise, really great for all kinds of carries, and a lot easier on my back than squatting and deadlifting with a straight bar.
Awesome! I bought the Midas Shorty barbell last year and it replaced 3 Rogue full-length bars. Thanks for sharing this! Loving your Con coverage!!!
Thanks! I've got a bunch more like this to edit and post, stay tuned!

Suit case carry’s look like a great idea! I feel like a lot of Fringe Sport barbells are an ideal choice. Cool you got to be in there by yourself too

I really like this bar like the updates and upgrades they may do it

I really like Fringe equipment, There Customer Service is incredible, also the warranty.
Agree on all counts!
So this is what Gym Crafter After Dark looks like 😂🤣
Ha! Yep! Now you know why I was out so late on Friday night!

Love it! It's great when you find something you click with in your gym!
