The Highs and Lows of Drag Racing. One day a king next day, asking why am i doing it ( or maybe not ?? ) But it's a great drug to be addicted too. Great video. Love the editing also. Looking forward to coming back to watch more. Big Thumbs Up until next the next video.
Hoping you haven't sucked the sump dry and scorched a bearing , did you check oil level when you first noticed oil pressure loss ? Brad is the Barra man , he'll will sort it ,top bloke also , as you know . It's all just little teething problems , you on top of it already . Great Attitude , love your child and your work .
Hi Mate , I had the same issue in my wife’s turbo Terry. Fresh rebuild . Had great oil pressure on the gauge from first fire up 50 psi . Then it just started getting worse then no oil pressure on the gauge ! So I know how exactly you feel ! However threw a new oil gauge on it and bang the pressure was back where it was before. So the old oil gauge was telling me porkies ! Maybe try that ? Best of luck ! All good builds , you have to pull motor at least twice haha!
the finer issues get sorted then something else happens =( sucks balls boxer, however the silver lining is that its the last few things to really get checked/upgraded before its long term fun! cant wait to see it in action again soon! always hear if ya need a hand with stuff! =)
Chin up mate. My turbo XF blew 4 motors in 3 months (not big $$$ engines like yours obviously) so I know how you feel. You'll have it sorted in no time. don't get carried away with the upgrades. get it back in and running. in 6 months time this will be a distant memory.
Sorry to hear it mate. You can see/tell how bummed you are about it, but it's great to hear that there might be a few upgrades at the same time. Are you planning an Air to Water intercooler, or putting an A2A up the front next time?
@@HoonTV hey man good vids , the ute suits the color and stance and sounds awsome . Such is petrolhead life , pull it fix it right , back in and beat on it again 👍😎 Can I ask what size wheels an tyres the utes running brother ? cheers

HP Junkie oil pump should solve that issue if you have caught it earlier enough.. hopefully you've caught it earlier and keep up the great work 👍
Excellent video well done.

The two best barra’s I know....
Raceworks/Bowden Racing’s Tc cortina..

Yeah, but we pulled the turbo feed line off and started it and there was no oil coming out. That's usually a good indicator.
@@HoonTV yep that’s bad !

Just living the car life. Stuff happens, we fix it and go straight back to what we were doing when it broke . . . then it starts again.
100% break it, fix it, make it better :)
i hear that keeping your tailgate on creates an air dam and is more aerodynamic than no tailgate

What is considered a hot egt temp ?
Not so much hot, cold.
