Hi there, after this video my fishing moments on places with lots of weeds will be very productive!!!! This video is very clear and I get ones done for my next fishing. Thank you again and again....Take care.
Nice. I have used monofilament looped around the hook and tied at the shank. Like your wire build better. Attractor tails are a great finish, also. Can’t wait for fishing vid.
You said the wire must be??? or it will not work I heard the size and I could not hear the word you used. Was there another criteria you were specifying? Great idea but from what you said I was not ready to buy just any leader material. May I suggest if that your tailing materials will look better /more Natural if you tie in the trimmed portion and the part in the water will keep a tapered look.
Good night! This creation is very good, I am looking forward to producing and testing, it will really be a revolution in my fisheries! Thank you very much and congratulations on your channel!
Awesome video great idea I tried this and they came out fantastic. I also made a few others, After the glue I tried a small piece of rubber shrink wrap (automotive repair wire wrap) I slid it over the wire and eye of the hook down far enough so the eye was fully exposed again, and they came out pretty awesome. Just another idea, I appreciate the contact keep it coming 👍🏽
Weedless trebles would probably be really good for spoons, especially for trolling them. I used to use King Spoons, big single hook spoons. They would get hit and not hook fish fairly often. So on one I put a big split ring and treble hanging from back of the hook hole. The other one I used thick single strand leader and wired a trailer hook. Neither seemed to affect the actions of the spoons much, I still caught limits of kings on them. Those spoons could have the big single hook wired weedless and a treble out back. The trebles probably doubled the number of fish we hooked and landed in Florida. Later I left them with my Costa Rican fishin' buddies, the mackerel there also bit those spoons.
Great video, never thought about making your own weedless trebles. Looks very simple and I can see a few places where they will come in handy for me. I really enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this! I’ve tried to make a weedless treble in the past and failed miserably! Lol. Great vids from you! I appreciated our spreading your knowledge! D.
Thank you for sharing how to make a weedless Treble Hook. I wish you would give a list of material and where you can purchase these supplies. Thanks again RLF
Weedless travel hooks are a bit of a compromise. If the lure you put it on is sensitive to drag, then these weedless treble hooks might kill the action of the lure. It would be a matter of experimenting. Thank you for watching.
i use a humidifier motor for a drying rack and put pink foam insulation the sit the resin to hardon pool noodle does work to just have to fill the center with a dowel and drill a hole in the center to cut into the ends for the hook to sit into the
Awesome work my friend! I'm ordering everything too! I fish a lot in very shallow water for northern snakeheads with Mepps spinners so this would be great. Looks like it's a great swap out for other lures. Thanks man!!!
Great video! Question for you: what gauge wire would you recommend to make treble hooks weedless on musky double 8 bucktails? Thanks in advance! Great channel!
I really like your videos. Have you made an articulated snake lure? I've had good luck fishing for snakeheads with snake lures, save for all the snags. If only an engineer could design a retractable mechanical hook system that only pops out when the fish bites the lure.... lol
I actually have designed a lure with a hook that only comes out when a fish hits it...it's called the "Switch Blade Shad". I haven't shared the design yet...
Once again I'm commenting just to let you know we're still watching. Much appreciated and very useful for the future. Thnx.
I appreciate that!
Thank you sir! Was just thinking about this after watching your bladed treble video the other day and this popped up! I'll give it a shot!

Glad it was helpful!
Great idea. Thanks
You are welcome!
That's a great idea the lake I live on and fish most does have alot of vegetation so this will be handy thank you
Glad to help.

Thanks...hope to have a fishing vid soon.

Thanks for the tip.
In the video I give you the size and type of leaderwire I use and I say that whatever wire you use it should not be annealed wire.
seems like quite a tedious process but def worth it, with the end results. great video thanks!
Thanks for watching!

Great job!
I'll be honest, I never heard of weedless treble hooks or even thought it was possible but what a great idea. UV resin really opens up a lot of doors.
I love the stuff... thanks for watching
I found that the gorilla glue it's almost like a resin works great for dressing hooks it really hardens nicely and gives you that nice shine look
I agree 👍 you just have to wait for it to set a bit longer.
Great work! I love your vids, greetings from Turkiye :)
Thank you very much!
@@EngineeredAngler you very much welcome Sir ✌️

Brilliant concept thanks for posting 👍
Glad you liked it!
Nice Idea thanks for the video always good to see what you come up with next.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!
Another great idea, love dressed hooks. Keep these coming.
Thank you! Will do!
5 minutes after watching this I headed to the tackle shop to get wire! Great video!!
That is awesome!
Your link for the thin wire used for the guards has gone bad, can you update the link for a source of .014 unannealed wire for the guards?
Great job and great idea👍
Great video. thanks for uploading
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video.. and what an easy way to make a top water hook.. that works. :) Keep up the good work.
This I needed for a long time. Tnx!!
You're welcome.

Just purchased some UV glue. I’ve wanted some of these for a while now for many different lures and uses.
Good luck!
Thanks for the life lesson.
Any time...
Enjoying your videos, they our great! Any thoughts on the larger trebles that our typically used on Musky or Pike thanks

No problem 👍

Well done!
Does the wire negatively effect hookup ratio?
I don't think so.
@@EngineeredAngler nice ill give these a try then. Nice vid
Great video! Question for you: what gauge wire would you recommend to make treble hooks weedless on musky double 8 bucktails? Thanks in advance! Great channel!
Those things usually run 5/0 to 7/0 hooks so I would start with 105lb ss leader wire and experiment from there. Good luck
Another great video.
Thanks again!
What size wire would you suggest for size 1/0-5/0 hooks? Or how do you determine if its strong enough wire and not too strong?
That would take some experimenting....
@@EngineeredAngler Yeah I figured I'd ask anyway. I'll buy a bunch and test it and let you know. Thanks for the video!
This is great. Thank you!
Show me a tool to make the line tie likes on the old H&M’s spinnerbaits
Which type of super glue do you use?
I used Dap 00155, on this project.
Cool
Very good
Thanks
Amazing !!! Thanks for sharing 🙂👍
My pleasure 😊
Enjoy your fishing trip mate😎😎👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧 it’s feck’n freezing over here in the uk 🥶🥶🥶😂😂😂
Where did you get that tool to hold the string to spin around the treble hook so fast???
And your clip to hold the treble hook???
Google search for fly tying tools and you will see everything I used and much more'
I am enjoying using UV glue more and more. It would be nice if it came in bright colors.
I totally agree!
Do you sell these on ebay or Amazon?
Sorry no but thank you for asking.
Muito bom!
Obrigado

Research the Japanese PikuPiku finess top water bait👍
You mean this...

I wonder if using only one wire can do the same job, but have the wire bent down and in to a circle. The same diameter as all three hooks.
Dunno
The wire loops will snag grass etc...
@@EngineeredAngler , crap. Ha
I imagine you could do this to a single hook too while building a top water lure like a popper, frog etc.
Absolutely!
H&H that is
That's a single coil bend. I'll think about it.
