yeah you can replay them. My last run was on the switch, im amaze how they ported this game one this weak machine. It isnt very pretty but all is there.
When I realized that the game was over, it was like saying goodbye to a friend leaving forever. Because I do not want to change the passage, all my choices will be the same and I have too good a memory, I still remember this game, and if I forget something, it will instantly be remembered when I try to replay it. So Geralt - goodbye.
This always reminds me of what Gerald said about his swords: "I carry two swords. One of silver, for creatures that roam the wild. One of steel, for humans in their cities of stone. They’re both for monsters."
At some point Geralt was too tired of explaining that some monsters are vulnerable to iron and others to silver. So he went with the popular "one for monsters, the other for humans" myth. That gave him air of professionalism and meant less trouble from random idiots trying to challenge him.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames There are 2 epic battle music themes that play depending whether you are fighting humans and monsters in the video game. As you would expect, they are "Steel for Humans" and "Silver for Monsters"

When they drink too much, cheat, steal, beat their wife with reins, starve their old grandmother, smash a caught fox with an ax or shoot arrows at the last remaining unicorn in the world, they like to think that Mora entering the hut at dawn is more monstrous than them. Then somehow they feel lighter at heart. And it's easier for them to live." Geralt's words. Hits like a truck, doesn't it.
Damn. Thanks so much for sharing that 😃 this trailer is so amazing. Can’t wait to finally get to play the game. And maybe even check out the books though have a lot of books in our list as well 🤓
Ah one of my favorite games of all time. Always a good time Fun fact, this trailer did happen and the man with the main character told the other witchers in his group about the “killing monsters” line and one of them makes fun of him for being all dramatic
Something to keep in mind in this game is that your choices, even if they look moral, may have bad results. In this scene, we come upon a very brutal display of soldiers torturing a peasant girl for "cannibalism, looting and witchcraft". It may be a lie, or not. In which case, coming back a week later to that place, you will see half the villagers dead, killed by the girl in some ritual and maybe have to kill her yourself. Or, she was innocent, but other soldiers in the area didn't appreciate the intervention, and put the village to the torch. Or it may be just fine. You never REALLY know.
Which is very much why you can’t go around trying to parse level of evils. In this scenario they could have killed her quickly and been done with it if she was truly guilty of those crimes but that they took such pleasure in hurting and torturing her was what Geralt couldn’t sit by and just let it happen especially to a woman who we all know he has a soft spot for anyways
This scene shows perfectly who is Geralt : extremely competent killer but with morale instincts. He is even able to actually "feel" despite his mutation should prevent it. He won't hesitate even facing the greater danger to do what he is meant to do, killing monsters, no matter their shape or race.
true but do not jugde all human as "monster", the most have value, education, emotions but its also true that we can be evil and sadistic, history shows us that.

Wow, thanks so much for sharing that story. Glad this game could get you through a tough time. We’ve been there for sure. And we do plan on playing this game as well. On our bucket list 🙂
The reason why this game crosses that line of being absolutely amazing is how they managed to add and sustain complexity to the characters and how, just like in real world, it isn’t just black or white. You’d be payed to kill a creature just to find out that they had their own struggles and necessities with which they were bound to do what they did and it creates this whole “morality” environment and has the player make the choices making it that much more immersive and personal when the consequences set in.
The witcher 3 wild hunt is the best game ever made. Every character feels "real" ,complex and interesting. It can literally make the player shed tears of joy and sorrow. Because it makes the player feel other characters struggles ,joy and much more. It's a masterpiece undoubtedly.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Those who already played the witcher 3 would envy you since you are going to experience this masterpiece for thr first time. Fantastic trailer... in the game Lambert(another wolf witcher also Geralt Friend) mock him about his"Killing Monster" While i think Geralt could have just used Axii sign to sort out the situation
Exactly why Geralt is such a cynic. He despises cruelty and injustice and cannot simply stand idly by when it happens around him, but the world is filled with broken people and unintended harm, but also deception, misdirection, and confusion. Otherwise good people who do something terrible. Monsters that are only guilty of looking fearsome. He doesn't want to get involved in the messy politics of the world. But he can't help it.
She’s super right, Geralt is a very interesting character. You should definitely play The Witcher, it’s a beautiful saga and the third game is (in my opinion) the best game ever made
The "Sword of Destiny" Trailer is also really epic, and it shows how the game actually looks. Maybe check that one out next. As always, great reaction, keep it up!
It's important to note for this trailer: GERALT IS NOT THE HERO! No one is. It looks like Geralt 'swoops in on a white stead and rescues an innocent woman' but that's not necessarily true. He doesn't have any way of knowing if she actually committed those crimes etc. In the witcher world, it's most likely that both the woman and soldiers weren't as one-dimensional. The soldiers are frustrated by war and paid barely anything to do their job, but they still do it. There is no benefit for them in killing the woman if she's innocent because she doesn't seem to have money, food, water or any other supplies. Just torturing her to death or hanging her gets them nothing except spending energy and possibly gratification, so they were most likely ordered to do what they attempted. The woman keeps her eyes open, not scared of the gore, and she stands next to the hung man calmly and looks him up and down. She most likely did in fact loot fallen soldiers and possibly kill them in order to eat them 'fresh' instead of the bloated decayed corpses on the war fields. Morally both positions are shitty, the starving soldier having to do his duty or die, or the starving (homeless) woman raiding the fields. We just naturally sympathize with the woman because she is the one being hurt in front of us and because she is a woman. Geralt knows all people's general circumstances in the trailer: war, famine, trauma, duty, etc. He doesn't know the closer ones, for example, the woman possibly being homeless or her husband having potentially been killed. He doesn't know if she committed those crimes and if she got a fair trial etc. He just picks an answer that seems slightly fairer to him without justification, THAT IS NOT A HERO. I think he chooses to save the woman because she most likely committed fewer crimes in Geralt's eyes even if she was guilty than the soldiers committing war crimes on the daily on orders or not.
Thanks for sharing your take on this! 😃 The great thing about this trailer is so much is left to interpretation on good, evil, what makes a monster, hero, etc. We don’t believe they intended for all of us to see it the same or for there to be a right way to view it. Which is why it’s so fascinating and holds up 😊
You won't regret playing this game. I've been gaming all my life and it's in my top five favorite games of all time, alongside games like God of War, Castlevania SotN, ect.
We definitely want to play this game. Hear their is a remastered version coming out. And yes we are Dexter fans. Glad there is another season coming out because that shows finale episode was not great. The first 4 seasons were amazing thought. Mainly 1 2 and 4.

this is an amazing video reaction you guys have done also I can't wait to see you guys play The Witcher 3 on your channel it is an amazing game looking forward to seeing you guys play it
Witcher is definitely a game series worth to get to. 1 is a bit hard to get into today. I played it 14 years ago and loved it. But it hasn't aged to well, a remaster would be welcome. Still, a great game! The second is much different, and more of an action game, still RPG though. The third is were it gets MASSIVE, in all regards, but mostly the world. Witcher 3 the Wild Hunt is the best game ever according to me. But since your choices carry over, its worth playing all three to really get the story.
Hmm. We have so many games we want to play and right now not nearly enough time so we may go straight into 3 but you’ve given us something to think about for sure 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Its not impossible to go straight into 3. But you get "an interview" early in the game to "set your choices" from previous games. I've seen people get confused there because they have no knowledge about the story. But, as long as you know that you are making choices with your answers its not impossible, but ok at least :P
The spitting/hanging guard is also seen briefly in the Yennefer trailer :) most likely this one happens a couple of weeks/months later, shortly before the game begins.
Geralt pulling out the steel sword then putting it back is just great since his steel sword is for fighting men but his silver sword is for monsters but in this case he didn't see em as men he saw em as monters so he puts back his steel sword

Interesting fact, at some point in the game, Geralt outlines the true purpose of the Witchers. Not killing monsters exactly, but maintaining the peace between men and beasts. Especially sentient ones. So that peace loving creatures may live in peace. If too many monsters step out of line and cause problems for humans, they might just exterminate them. Witchers culling the herd a bit helps prevent this, and as Geralt explains, Witchers are perfect for this because they "walk in both worlds".
“People," Geralt turned his head, "like to invent monsters and monstrosities. Then they seem less monstrous themselves. When they get blind-drunk, cheat, steal, beat their wives, starve an old woman, when they kill a trapped fox with an axe or riddle the last existing unicorn with arrows, they like to think that the Bane entering cottages at daybreak is more monstrous than they are. They feel better then. They find it easier to live.” Nice quote from the book.

The Witcher 3 is a fantastic game. It is based on short stories and novels by Polish author Andrzej Sakpkowski. It is a unique experience on its own but it's even better when you've read all the books and played the predecessors (or seen a let's play or game movie) in order to really grasp the world, story, and characters. Enjoy your time with The Witcher 3. Has been the best 1,000 (and counting) hours invested in gaming in my life.
Whoa that’s a ton of gameplay?! But you bring up a good point about maybe checking out some story trailers or cut scenes from first two Witcher’s once we get around to playing this 😁
If you haven't already, I strongly suggest that you watch the TV series with Henry (Superman) Cavill as Geralt, the Witcher. Bear in mind that the series is NOT linear, there are 3 timelines, one for each main Character - Geralt, Ciri (Cirilla) and Yennefer. Witchers and Sorceresses have long lifespans - Geralt is already over100 years old in the Game and it is implied that Yennefer is also about that age. Be prepared- it is NOT for the Faint of heart, either. The second series arrives about the end of this year (2021/22) The 3 timelines meet in the final episode of Season 1...
We’ve tried but couldn’t get into it first time. But that is also not knowing anything about franchise. At that point we hadn’t even seen these trailers. Curious how season 2 will shake out. We might start with game just to familiarize ourselves with the world even though we’ve been told the series is based on books. 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Part of the reason for the 3 timeline approach is that the First two books in the Witcher series are collections of Short stories, which correspond to each of the 8 episodes - just not exactly. The rest of the series are all novels.... (IMHO, they managed a original and engaging way to convey the disjointed nature of those stories, while taking the time to tie them together at the end of the season. But it does mean you have to pay close attention to names and characters. EG: King Foltest, a major minor character first appears as a child at a ball, and gets scolded for "Bothering his sister" - an important point later on....
Hmm. We will add it to our list but we aren’t doing music videos yet. That could change hit record companies tend to be more strict with copyright infringement 😮

The "Sword of Destiny" Trailer is also really epic, and it shows how the game actually looks. Maybe check that one out next.
As always, great reaction, keep it up!
That will most likely be our next stop in the Witcher journey. 😁
Which is why it’s so fascinating and holds up 😊
"W-What are you dooing?"
"KILLING MONSTERS...
haha... Good One"
That quite he says before attacking is from the books and its so well put in there
Great line 😃
You won't regret playing this game. I've been gaming all my life and it's in my top five favorite games of all time, alongside games like God of War, Castlevania SotN, ect.
Also, don't know if you guys are Dexter fans but Dexter Season 9 is confirmed! :D
We definitely want to play this game. Hear their is a remastered version coming out.
And yes we are Dexter fans. Glad there is another season coming out because that shows finale episode was not great. The first 4 seasons were amazing thought. Mainly 1 2 and 4.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Guess I'm getting a PS5 then haha. Looking forward to playing it again!
Oh for sure, I'm so glad there's more Dexter. I heard MCH was trying to get the rights to Dexter so he could remake Seasons 4-8 since he didn't like how they went, but I'll take a Season 9 too :) Long as we get to see more of Dexter, I don't really care what it ends up being.
The Witcher 3 won the most game awards in history and was Game of The Year not once but twice, its definitely one of the top 3 games of the decade.
On our bucket list to play 😁
Great video. And to me mankind is probably the greatest monsters. Keep being awesome. Geralt is just incredible.
We enjoyed finally getting some of his personality in our Witcher journey 🙂
I really love your reactions. You two always making amazing reactions
Thanks so much! 🥰☺️ glad you enjoy the videos 🙂
this is an amazing video reaction you guys have done also I can't wait to see you guys play The Witcher 3 on your channel it is an amazing game looking forward to seeing you guys play it
We look forward to playing it on the channel 😀🥳🥳☺️
In this game [When the monster goes to sleep, he checks under the bed for Gerald]
😂😁
Lambert in the meantime: Brr Brr KILLIN MÖNSTERZZ lol
The spitting/hanging guard is also seen briefly in the Yennefer trailer :) most likely this one happens a couple of weeks/months later, shortly before the game begins.
😎👍😃
Geralt pulling out the steel sword then putting it back is just great since his steel sword is for fighting men but his silver sword is for monsters but in this case he didn't see em as men he saw em as monters so he puts back his steel sword
Nice attention to detail there 😃🤩
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames thnx this very game is all about the story people love it not for the combat system but for exploring the world of the witcher and for the great stories ... I really advise you to play it if u do play games cuz this is one of the greatest games of all times ..
Note playing this game while trying to navigate your choices to the lesser evil will be both philosophical and poetic
No one knows better about "lesser evil"? than Geralt does. This trailer is wonderfoul easter egg to a book
Heard that killing monsters line gets brought up in the game to. Looking forward to playing it ☺️
Oh I can still feel the excitement the same feeling during the time when this trailer first released.
you should play the game. there is a scene in game wherein they talked about this specific trailer. you'll see.
and I'm proud to say that this game is one of the most well crafted game in gaming history, I'm not exaggerating. this game set the bar so high for triple A games. most gamers don't just consider this as game of the year when it came out but the game of decade.
Damn. High praise. Is there a campaign story or is it just mainly online multiplayer?
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames it's purely narrative. no online features.
Excellent video!
A Way Out 😁
Don’t worry I won’t forget to remind you😂
We knew we could count on you. Because you have a shadow bunny as your avatar ☺️
After a long and hard day - it's awsome to see your viewpoint and reaction to a cinematic. Best regards, you are great! :D
Thanks so much for letting us know that. Glad our vids could help you unwind. Cheers! 🥂 🍻
great reaction keep it up
“People," Geralt turned his head, "like to invent monsters and monstrosities.
Great quote! Thanks for sharing it 😃
Quote from the book: "People," Geralt turned his head, "love to invent horrors and fears. Then they themselves seem not so ugly and terrible." Sorry for Google translate
Good quote 😊
Witcher 3 is the best game I've ever played and I've played it through six times now
Damn! We can’t wait to finally experience it for ourselves hopefully later this year 🙂
Oh wow I am glad you're playing Valhalla! that sounds awesome!
Yeah it’s fun. We had some let’s plays (basically a livestream preview our later let’s plays will be shorter) and hopefully can get some livestreams going next month to finish up Valhalla 😎
there is a referance to that trailer in the game lambert mentions it xD
So we’ve been told. And despite what he said that was not a cheesy line haha. Loved that Killing Monsters line
Dude I love the colour of your shirt.
Thanks! 🙂🤟🍻
What does your channel name, which you say at the end of a video mean?
It means we realize what we say and think on these videos is just an opinion. Everyone on TH-cam tries to be an expert. We know we aren’t and love learning from fans of shows, games, etc. There are videos that say “the definitive list” or “definitive ranking”. We are definitely not definitive because our opinions are just that, opinions 🙂
I really like watching you thanks)) hello from Russia
Thank you! 😃😃🤟🤟🍾🍻🙋♀️🙋♂️
If you'd like to see another cool Witcher video, check out The Witcher 2 intro cinematic (it's on youtube). It shows a "bad" witcher (I know things are morally gray, etc.) in action and it's pretty cool in its own right.
Appreciate the Witcher vid rec! 😀
People who still argue about why we prefer the games over the show should watch these trailers... They'll understand.
The trailers are super badass. Looking forward to eventually experiencing the full game 🤩 heard a remaster is coming 😀
But you bring up a good point about maybe checking out some story trailers or cut scenes from first two Witcher’s once we get around to playing this 😁
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames The Witcher 2's cinematic opening is one of the best scenes in gaming, period. You really should check that out.
I loved that in the game another Witcher makes fun of Geralt for saying that line
😂 that’s what we’ve been told. Can’t wait to play this 😎
Love their reactions.
Please do another Mortal Kombat reaction.
Greetings from Mexico 👍
🙋♀️🙋♂️ we have an MK reaction coming out on Friday 😁
E um jogo muito bom, recomendo assistirem a série da Netflix.

EG: King Foltest, a major minor character first appears as a child at a ball, and gets scolded for "Bothering his sister" - an important point later on....
you can't even imagine how cool the game awaits you)) Certainly several times deeper than the Assassins' Creed "Valhalla"))))
We look forward to finally playing it 😊
That's what the game is about. Humans are the real monsters.
Makes sense. Can’t wait to play 🙃
Maybe you can watch Shelter next? It’s an animated music video. Pretty Good if you wanna feel sad.
Hmm. We will add it to our list but we aren’t doing music videos yet. That could change hit record companies tend to be more strict with copyright infringement 😮
The books and Netflix series are amazing btw
Henry cavill plays geralt (the witcher) and he's perfect for the role
Yes we heard books are great and that the series follows that more than the games. 🙂
Watch the cinematic for The Witcher 2 if you haven't already, another badass trailer.
Haven’t yet 🙂
the trick question with this trailer is what did geralt do
did he save a damsel in distress
or
did he free a ruthless monster
He dealt with the monsters he knew first. We have faith that if she is in fact a ruthless monster. She’ll get what’s coming 😝
I think you missed the girl kicking the stool out from under the fella.
Yup its so lit 🔥🔥🔥 you guys should play this on stream trust me you will not regret to playing this master peace its based on best selling book 📕 of all time
There are so many games we want to get and play once we start getting the right streaming equipment. Red Dead Redemption 2, ASsassins creed games, Witcher 3, Resident Evil. Ahhh. We just need more time 😝
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yup 🤣
Witcher 3 my #1 Game of a Lifetime 💝
Awesome reactions! You should react to diablo 3 reaper of souls and diablo 4 cinematics ! You will be really shocked :D
Cool beans. Glad you liked the reaction. Diablo is a series on our list we are trying to get to 🙂
i think u should watch the other cinematic as well
Yes we need to watch Sword of Destiny 🙂
You should check out dying light 2 trailer, its amazing, fluid movement, decision making, and a lot more
We’ve heard! Hoping to get to it soon as it was released not too long ago (reacting to newer trailers is such a novelty for us 😂🤗)

On our list. Getting quite a few requests for these 😃
i just have finish the Game...and it's one of the Best single player games of all time, You have to play it
With all those awards we believe you. Red Dead Redemption 2 was going to be our next game but this is starting to make us question that decision. Both look amazing 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames dammm, that Game is insaneee, good choice.
I'm always gonna tell you guys about cenimatics I've watched over a billion times lol cus I'm a weirdo. >.< This one is amazing one of my favorites of all times😍😍😍. I dont wanna watch the Netflix show because I'm afraid it will ruin the game character I played for me.
It will ruin the game characters. Henry Cavill is good, but all others are meh.
@Paulo PIRES TEIXEIRA ya he is a good superman but that's all I'll ever see him as in my mind lol
We are weirdos too so no judgment here ever 😝😝 If you like Henry Cahill and history give the Tudors a try 🙃
Leave you a coin to your Witcher a valley of plenty of valley of plenty
An another video i asked 🙂💫. If you are wondering, geralt was above 90 years old.
Hope we are that bad ass when we’re 90 😝😎
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames you need to be mutated for that and be resistant to the poisons, that witchers ingest for battle ;)

very good reaction, I recommend you react to the trailer of warhammer 3👌
We have a couple Warhammer ones on our list and 3 is definitely one of them 🤓
Just beat witcher 3. I liked my outcome that my choices made.
Congrats!!🥳🥳🥳 how long did it take you? We heard it’s a long game and we are still working through Valhalla which feels like a long ass game as well 😂

If you play enough game, you will learn how to do it quick and efficient because all the knowledge you learn from previous game. It might apply to other game. That's why playing for a long time is mentally exhausting from using the brain and not go auto pilot mode.
Can’t wait to play this game🥳

1.1 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - VGX Trailer
1.2 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - The Sword Of Destiny Trailer

Hmm. Maybe. We have seen it before though and we usually like to watch things for first time on camera but we will ponder this and look into a reaction 🙃
Since u guys react to battlefield trailer in the past..maybe u could react to apex legends season 1-9???
Apex Legends is on our list to get to. 🤓
you should to watch witcher - horror of the wolf from netflix
We can add it to our list 😎
I think you two should check out Diablo 4 trailer, it is one of the most epic trailer I have ever seen and I think both of u would like it

We will. Played that franchise before and it’s such a fun game. One of my favorite. ☺️
Hi again🤣🤣..how r u lovely couple doin?🥰
🙋♀️🙋♂️ we’re doing well thanks for asking! Hope you are as well 😎☺️
The thing is, knowing the Witcher universe, she's probably guilty. That's a big part of the game, choosing between two evils.
The lesser of two evils. We can get with that 🙂
on a deeper level aswell you can argue he does not attack the men either., they make the choice to attack him after the pushes. And then Geralt leaves the woman to have a choice to kill the last guy or not. She gets the choice to be evil or not.
This trailer has more levels to it than most full length movies these days. 🤓🤟🍻
Please react more to Overwatch. Honor and Glory, Dragons etc.
We plan to. In chronological order as well. 😃
We all low key know the girl wasn't gonna die 🗝️😂
We thought she was gonna turn into a monster and start killing those dudes. So in that sense the twist got us 😝
