You know, at first I wasn't sure if this was a possibility, but there's actually a good way to do it. 1. Build the whole park separate from the path where guests can access it. 2. Build a one-way no entry path leading to the park so as not to harm the park value for trapping a guest in your park. 3. Only charge admission for one guest and then immediate make park entry free. 4. Build a mini park (merry-go-round and stalls) at the beginning where everything is free to keep the other guests occupied (again for the sake of park value). 5. I'd love to see a slight variant on that. Instead of a loneliness challenge where only one person is allowed in the park, have a rich uncle pennybags challenge where everything must be completely free for everyone except a single guest trapped in a separate section of the park, presumably full off ATMs.
Most rides require 2 guests to run, most likely because rendering seats with only one guest in them would have required more sprites for each vehicle and would have taken up disk space

Hey, here's an idea for a challenge, Maintenance Madness: Every ride you design must be able to kill its riders on a failure (I.E. Station brake failure). You are allowed only one maintenance worker. Both of these have some rather interesting secondary effects, the ride design constraint would prohibit some simpler micro-coasters, requiring a bit of creativity to fulfill that rather morbid design requirement. The single maintenance worker would also likely force you to design your park around all rides being easily reached by him so you can really get your money's worth.
Ideas similar to this... If there is a mountain or slope of the land, you MUST build underground or using supports to maintain altitude. Rides like the Observation Tower cannot be built higher than the base unit. Negative points for completing this in Forest Frontier or any other park with little to no elevation changes. --Completing a scenario but all the rides must be built outside the park (no part of the ride can be built on or above a tile that is within the boundaries of the park). --Completing a scenario but every single tile in the park MUST have a scenery piece on it before end of scenario. Bonus points if this can be done in a scenario where you cannot remove scenery. --Completing a scenario but you are not allowed to build washrooms (or food stalls or drink stalls or all three). --Completing a scenario but you can only charge enough to get 0.10 euros of profit per purchase of anything in the park. --Completing a scenario but you only are only allowed to make profit from on-ride pictures. --Completing a scenario but you cannot charge more than 1 euro per ride or stall items. --Completing a scenario but you are only allowed to use rides of the _________ type (or even a single ride). --Completing a scenario but you cannot attract more than 100 guests over the scenario goal (if a scenario asks for 2000 guests in the park, you cannot go over 2100 guests: getting 2101 guests fails the scenario immediately). --Completing a scenario but every queue line must be at least 100 tiles long. --Completing a scenario but you cannot use queue lines. Bonus points for not using single-entry rides like the maze, the mini-golf, and the slide. --Completing a scenario but you cannot use pre-built rides and you cannot undo any build actions (so if you build a roller coaster but get stuck somehow and cannot complete it, you cannot undo previous build steps to correct the error, nor can you delete the build; you just end up with an incomplete coaster that cannot be sold; same for building paths, queue lines, stalls, etc.) --Completing a scenario but you cannot hire any staff at all.
