Nice video, 2 weeks ago I got one of those Echo trimmers for $20 CN, and wanted to give it my daughter . After cleaning carb only and hopped to start it with out changing membranes, I was pulling about 10 times and felt huge chest pain. I ended up calling 911 . In hospital they had to give me el shock to bring my heart rithm from 180 to 70. I think im getting to old. LOL

Dude, that was GREAT !!! I have an Echo GT200R that has been running like crap and EVERY video I see is regarding the spark arrestor and that's not the problem on mine, I've checked that out a number of times and that's not the issue. Its tough to start and then won't stay running very good, bogs down when trying to throttle etc. I think this is my next step.

I have an old homelite trimmer with a walboro carburetor (WT667)..The high speed jet is just a metal rod that you can’t adjust. The low speed jet does have a slot for a screw driver. Are those non adjustable ones removable for cleaning? Can they be adjusted? Or are they permanent? Seems to be running lean at full throttle. Has new diaphragms in it and I cleaned the carb in an ultrasonic cleaner. I’m wondering if their is still some debris caught in that non removable high speed jet. Love your videos. Learned a lot 🙏

I don't think those are designed to come apart but to be honest I've never tried. At our shop rates we would just replace the carb rather than chancing the time spent trying to clean it.

Hopefully that repair was covered under warranty. Good videos, keep'em coming.

Manufacturers don't like to cover fuel related problems. They have no control over what you put in the tank or how old it is. Besides, I'm pretty sure this machine is older than their 5 year warranty.

Not sure, we stock many sizes. We charge by the foot, not part number so I never pay attention and just grab what I need.

I’ve seen the five stages of a greasy shop rag…I think you should be ready to send that one on the bench out to pasture…..or not..lol

We had a really sweet deal getting those towels for years but that ended. I've got a few stashed and I'm trying to conserve them as long as possible. Ya, that ones way past napkin stage.

The only reason I have footage of these actual repairs is because my employer allows me to hang a camera over the bench. I've been experimenting with a 4k camera but that hasn't been working out. Thanks for your input and for watching.
