This was hard for me to watch. In May of 2001, we were dispatched for a person lost in the lake in my hometown. I worked for search and rescue in another town and we were called in. We were able to recover the victim. The victim was my 14 year old son. My prayers to the family. I have been there.

I was on the lake that day and left an hour before it happened. The waves are always high on the lake. Anytime a boat even slowly goes by it feels like a mini tsunami. There were not many boats that day. Sad. Respect for the family.
I have been to Lake Conroe but I always stayed in my car. I just would come for the air. I once saw a truck backing a boat into the water and the transmission gave out. The boat floated but the truck and the boar lift sank like millstones. That water is deep and murky. Rest in peace Mr 🥀
I wonder what went through his head as he realized he was about to drown. Also some friends he's got. How did they not scoop him up in a damn boat when they saw him start to struggle???

That's very callous. He might have got a cramp or something. Be mindful that this was someone's loved one. You don't know exactly what happened.
