As a drone photographer for real estate agents in sydney Australia for 7 years i deliver 5 angles.
Front of the house shot 15-30m up-, birds eye view of the property, 3 location shots high up 50-120m in the air to show local shops, schools, train station , beach etc which label and the property is outlined.
Sometimes 4-5 location shots if there is more to show in the location.
I used to deliver the angels you mention but most of the time the agent would only use 1-3 drone shots and more of actual ground taken photographs of the property. I save time by taking less images and less editing.
Thank you for the informative video Kyle.
    Love your videos always!

Thanks for sharing this guild on how to take real estate photo, this is very useful and will help out many people looking to get started. And I agree with you about not using presets in your workflow.

Very cool. I don't think I've seen many of your videos where you're not flying by the river. Definitely cool to see how a little edit makes the colors change so much. Can't wait to see the next video.

Love the video, now I’m thinking of doing this as a side job in the future with my DJI Mavic Mini 3 Pro. How do you spread the word of your drone services besides word of mouth? Lol

You are spot on regarding which properties can benefit from aerial photos! I can't tell you how many agents I have talked out of aerials because of trees, curb appeal and the neighborhood itself. I would rather the agent use that money for something like Matterport or iGuide (my preference).

Did surveys for solar panels last year. Pretty much followed the same pattern. The client did not want me to edit the photos. This year I’m doing surveys for cell antennas. Pretty much following the same pattern.

Can you make a video or color grading your DJI Mini 3 Pro drone video with a Final Cut Pro preferable in a Sunny area like a beach?
Also, which ND filter (which number and/or brand would you recommend for a Beachy/water area)
    Thanks!

hey probably silly question. I have a lot of smaller homes and trees in the beach areas I photograph and I often have to get up quite high to show the house in relation to the beach, any tricks to ensure I dont lose the location of the actual house once i get up high?

Great tips, but I'm missing one. What to do if weather suddenly goes cloudy. Are you waiting hours (days?) for the best possible lighting conditions or... just shooting?

    • @iPig
      @iPig 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Mostly you have to work with what you get as far as conditions go. In some circumstances you may get some flexibility.

I’d have to disagree regarding the small property and the power plant, etc. if you’re creative, you can make drone shots work in most situations

Depending on the forest this home is near it can be very enticing to see the landscape. Case in point my grandparents. You see the woods they live in and you instantly fall in love with that northern Minnesota feel. I would say in most cases trees can be your friend.

Any thoughts on your income from your TH-cam video's and how you make your living outside of TH-cam? And the truth about how most people might think you make your money from TH-cam, and!.. do your real estate stuff on the side?
I think I know the answer... but I am pre internet generation and while I like your channel... hard to believe your channel is your main source of income.. hope that made sense... 😊

You are probably aware but I got a message saying I won a random Polar pro and to contact you on Telegram. But there are a lot of people who were ‘randomly selected’
You are either very generous with gifts and winners, or there is something odd going on
