I agree. It was so simple yet not too basic. I've taken too many years off of sports games and when I tried to play the Show and Madden during Covid there was just too much stuff going on to make it enjoyable.

When I was a kid everyone bought THIS franchise for years until 2004. Thankfully the show took over. I actually bought my PS3 because I saw what the show had to offer over 2ks horrible game on the Xbox. Man this brings back the mems and the feels.
The player models in this game look early Gamecube. That's pretty good, since the N64 was Nintendo's console before that! The rest of the graphics seem standard to sub-standard in the N64's layout.

I agree for that time models was pretty damn good. Had so much fun playing this game as a teenager growing up.
More accurately, early Ps2. Even some of the shadows look impressive.
