SENDAI & MATSUSHIMA in 2 DAYS | Food, Sights, Where to Stay

For Golden Week (4/29-4/30) in Japan, I went to check out one of the Three Views of Japan (日本三景) at Matsushima (松島) in Sendai (仙台). From Tokyo, it's about a 2 hr direct Shinkansen (bullet train) ride to Sendai, so I definitely recommend checking out Sendai and Matsushima if you’re looking for a less touristy city that is easy to access from Tokyo.
Here is my 2-day Sendai & Matsushima itinerary with my recommendations for food, sights, and where to stay.
