SENDAI & MATSUSHIMA in 2 DAYS | Food, Sights, Where to Stay
For Golden Week (4/29-4/30) in Japan, I went to check out one of the Three Views of Japan (日本三景) at Matsushima (松島) in Sendai (仙台). From Tokyo, it's about a 2 hr direct Shinkansen (bullet train) ride to Sendai, so I definitely recommend checking out Sendai and Matsushima if you’re looking for a less touristy city that is easy to access from Tokyo.
Here is my 2-day Sendai & Matsushima itinerary with my recommendations for food, sights, and where to stay.

how did you get 40min bus ride from Shin Shin to Futamigoura? Because I found on google the fastest was 1hour 30 min.

This place is very peaceful, and with the ocean, I felt the time flow very slowly. It is a very nice place. Visiting this place is one of my most cherished memories. Thank you for the wonderful video.

When you took the no. 36 bus from Beppu to Yufuin, did the bus have luggage storage? By the way, I rate the Maplestory soundtrack
Bus 36 did not have separate luggage storage. It was a standard everyday bus, so you would have to hold your luggage near your seat if anything.

Fukuoka -> Yanagawa: Nishitetsu-Tenjin-Omuta Line, Fukuoka -> Beppu: JR Sonic Nichirin, Beppu -> Yufuin: Bus 36.

Were you able to buy an IC card?
From my understanding, IC cards can't be purchased anymore due to chip shortage, but you can get an IC card on your phone which I personally use as well. If your credit card doesn't work to charge the IC card, most ticket booths at major train stations have recharging capability for your mobile IC card.
