    very nice footage from the canadian side. As someone said- it could be so much better with some better editing and music. But none the less, very nice. well done. the lighting was perfect to really bring the colours out in the water. And the rainbow- you must have been very please with that when you looked at footage. ++

    wonderful ! as a Phantom3 owner, I would say 1st that you need a lot of courage to fly over such falls , very risky for the quad , and also for you as the police fight the drones in such places !

  • @stevewood4080

    No issues filming in a public area near heliports?

    • @StunningVideos
      @StunningVideos  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Steve Wood No, I don't fly as high as helicopters (actually, I didn't fly higher than rooftops) and don't get in the way or any close to helipads. Anyway, it is harmless to aircraft (except turbines, but it is now impossible to even start the motors in airport zones), as any propeller or airstream from one would destroy the drone, why would I want to risk it?

  • @gqstone
    @gqstone 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Most likely a stupid question on my part.. how does the controller keep in touch with drone over such a long distance? is there some sort of a monthly internet service required and transmission is made through the net? or is it simply a wireless transmitter with one hell of a good reception antenna?

    • @StunningVideos
      @StunningVideos  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Geo Sto This was normal distance for any hobby remote controller. Video and data downlink is more advanced though. But it is not connected to internet or any cellular networks.

    • @gqstone
      @gqstone 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you or have you found any flaws thus far in the phantom 3 that perhaps a future owner should know?

    • @sidneyxda3404
      @sidneyxda3404 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Geo Sto in other words future owner like you lol

    • @StunningVideos
      @StunningVideos  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sidney Xda No flaws so far. But a very good improvement would be adding distance sensors in next generations to the sides that would warn you when you are getting too close to and object on the similar altitude (much like parking sensors in cars) and safe mode option for this for beginners to stop the model and prevent collision.

    • @throwaway2910
      @throwaway2910 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Geo Sto a noob question but ill tell you how. its transmitter and receiver is absolutely amazing. No monthly fees.

    Didn't the restricted area feature built in the phantom3 gps prevent you to fly in this area? I once tried to fly in downtown Toronto, but the phantom 3 refused to take off as it was a 'no fly zone'

    any legal issues? especially for flying next to US border.

    • @StunningVideos
      @StunningVideos  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was legal back when it was taken. No idea if anyone would complain these days, something reliable and small like DJI Mavic Pro is hard to notice, especially with all the noise from the falls.

    its hard to pahtom that the only thing retaining Erié lake from spilling into Ontario lake is that small natural dam and that soon this dam will be gone and that Erié lake's geographie will drasticly change .

    • @StunningVideos
      @StunningVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      why do you think it will be gone?

    • @guytremblay1647
      @guytremblay1647 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StunningVideos Jesus every archeologists and scientists knows that Niagra falls is slowly eroding away . Nothing particular about that since its how any natural falls work . in the next 10,000 from what the study show . Niagra falls will be way closer to Erié lake than they are today and since the closer you they get to Erié lake the deeper the water gets the courants will become even stronget in the falls speeding up the erosion .once that starts water will drain a lot faster from Erié lake to a point that the lakes shore will start to change as the water levels go down

      Arjun Yadav Niagara Falls is not the restricted area, at least was not at this altitude in May. Downtown Toronto is restricted because of the airport.
