We got a television around 1953 and about 2 years later, when I was 8 our whole house would sit on the floor to watch ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS AND PERRY MASON. WOW, WHAT A FASCINATING MIND ALFRED HITCHCOCK HAD....GOOOD EEEVNING CAN STILL HEAR HIM. DID NOT KNOW THIS TH-cam EXISTED...THANK GOODNESS I FOUND IT.
Our family too! After our shower and clean PJ’s on, popcorn and Alfred! So many memories….so many great shows on TV then. I remember loving Tarzan too, every Saturday morning. Oh the days…..
@@cbass2755 those were THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!! i was a kid in the 1980s and the shows and movies and toys fashion, etc etc. were the best. not everyone on their cell phones all day! i love this show and the twilight zone!!! and of course ive watched every alfred hitchcock hour episode and ive watched them over again at least a hundred times.
Wouldn't that be a red flag? Margaret's, sister haven't heard from her in over a year... A good cop would've talk to her friends and family regarding her whereabouts.
@@Gumbier_Than It is better than that , the sister had not heard from her in over a year, then asks the investigator if he wants to give her a message ?
Billy Gray b: 1938: A child star: still living. He made about 200 films: he didn't go to school: because he was a child actor, and was educated on the film sets, by the studios teachers. In 1962 was arrested for possession of marijuana. Served 40days in jail, which effectively ended his acting career. After this he became motor racing car driver, and entrepreneur. Married twice, divorced twice. He lives in California and lives in the same house he bought in 1957, while working on Father knows best.
I’ve been in love with b&w old classics for years! Can’t ever find anyone local to talk with about them, though. My husband calls them my “Grey Movies”.
Another wonderful man does nothing wrong story from the world of director Alan Crosland Jr and from Henry Slesar's script. Unusual for Slesar because there is no short story published, just the script.
The actor playing the professor was the colonel in Sergeant Bilko's army camp. In that show Bilko was the trickster but in this one the professor outwits his accusers.
This story has a gruesome ending. This series was integrated in my childhood and to this day has impact. Hitchcock truly missed as no one like him to this day.
OMG!! Bud was cheating?? I wonder if Jim and Margaret know about this?? Betty never cheated and Kathy, well, I'm not sure about her! Seriously, nice to see Billy Gray spreading his wings. I had the *biggest* crush on him but he was a little older than I was. I don't think that he ever received the credit due him. A fine actor that unfortunately became type cast as too often happens. 🌈🌈🌈
Many of these Hitchcock episodes were about men killing their wives. I watched the entire series on Japanese television and it's interesting to see them now in English.
One of the students wants to find something he can blackmail the professor with to avoid having his Dad find out he's been caught cheating in school. Blackmail is a very common theme with Hitchcock. People did that all the time back then. It's crazy! (Blackmail)
for some reason I usually do want them to get away with it, but this time I didn't. AH always did throw in the perfunctory "they caught the bad guy in the end" because back then we admitted the influence the media has on our kids. But I tend to think AH wasn't really feeling it.
Reality Check > Double entendre -- two answers, either answer could be Yes or No. :-) Yes, she was a good cook; and no, her remains/cremains were not tasty.
The professor is Paul Ford. Loved him in the 1958 film, "The Matchmaker" with: Shirley Booth, Shirley Maclaine and Anthony Perkins, a much superior film to Streisand's "Hello Dolly".
I love Hitchcock, but a real law enforcement agent wouldn't have simply excepted the professor's story that his wife left him without having investigated further. After all, she's still classified as a missing person.
I’ve only just found these Hitchcock shows and now I can’t stop watching them.
Welcome to my world.
Me too. I love the last few seconds always a plot twist
That' are so addicting!

Where's that time machine
I wanna go back to the good ol days. Twilight zone times now
Perry Mason my mum never missed a show
Hitchock was the best nothing fancy just pure genius
Nothing fancy . . . just lots of shmancy. Fancy + shmancy = Got It ????
Hitchcock really understood human nature!
Seems he did. But not every understander gets to make TV and movie hits.
No cgi, 4 main actors, but a great well told tale. TY🙏
That hat! It's hilarious! 🤣
His wife must have been Minnie Pearl with that tag hanging on it 😂
Thanks for posting all these great shows~ I Love them so much~takes our minds off all the bad news on TV 💕💕💕
Well we saw that one coming, but it still had me in stitches.
Macabre humor Hitchcock style.
I cannot believe they had this on tv back then. I would have thought it too dark 😂

Not all sisters are close.

I would have been 9 or 10 when this aired. I remembered almost every scene. Amazing since I can't remember my own phone no. now
but I remember our phone no. back when I was 9. heh. nevermind : )

"Guys are always knocking off their wives"...this is still true
And sadly their whole family.
Love Pet Well, if you think about the more than 300.000.000 people in the US, then what is the percentage?
Yeah and "Dolls knockin off they husbands" .. Rare but true too
Ah Hahahaha! That's a GREAT ending! Great Classic - all of these Hitchcock Presents were! Thanks again for uploading them.
This episode has reflections of Hitchcock's "Rear Window" movie, a perennial favorite of mine.
"It's a very attractive hat, too!"
This reminds me of the "Flintstones" episode where Fred believes that his next door neighbor "Alvin Brickrock" (love it!) has done away with his wife.
That would be more like 'Rear Window,' but close enough.
That's some awfully old looking collage students lol.
Billy Gray was about 24 in this. Maybe they did their 2 years in the army. Not unheard of back then.
College and university are for all ages, kiddo.
I like the way they scare you with suspense and dramatic music. The black and white film helps. Good stuff !
Thats true. Thats why the great hitchcock created the classic Psycho in black and white
Present period🔴 need HITCHCOCK We miss him terribly.
Same goes for Hitchens
If Hitchcock we’re here today, he’d probably be sharing a jail cell with Harvey Weinstein.

The face of the "Professor" was very familiar, and then I remembered he was the Colonel in the Sergeant Bilco show I used to watch every week.
He also played mayor Shen in the music man movie.

Green + Pleasant.. That is Paul Ford

grouchy...with that distinctive voice.
'Guys are always knockin' over their wives', hysterical!

Bud, from Father Knows Best. Lol
That’s Bud from Father Knows Best! Great to see him in these clips! I bet he landed that job in Father Knows Best soon after playing in these. Idk…….
I thought that was him, even before I seen his face! I remember that voice anytime!
Yup. Billy Gray. Also co-starred in "The Day the Earth Stood Still" before his voice changed.
Billy was much younger when he started in Father Knows Best.
Bud Anderson father knows best 😂

somewhat strange choice of music at the very start , its an old patriotic tune called "The song of Australia "
Billy Gray of Father Knows Best!
