I am a CBJ fan and due to the Ducks amazing pick, we got Fantilli. But if we didnt get Fantilli, I wanted Will Smith and the CBJ would taken him. I think you guys got a homerun pick. I think he will be a tremendous player in the NHL
I was hoping Fantilli would fall to #4, but very happy with Smith. He could be the best playmaking center from the draft.
when i heard cbj liked smith, there was a glimmer of hope for fantilli, but cbj knew they couldn't pass. glad fantilli won't be in anaheim, at least
@@MrVisde I think Fantilli will be slightly better, but Will Smith will be a superstar if SJS develops him properly. Best hands in the draft and a top playmaker.
@@Michigan_Wolverine yeah, I imagine Fantilli will be the bigger star. Just saying that he plays a different style (power forward, sniper) than Will Smith (playmaker, dangler).
@@MrVisde I wasnt disagreeing with you. Smith will be a scorer and will rack up goals. He will have the smoothest hands and will drive play. He would have been #1 in at least a couple of drafts in the past decade. Except for Bedard, Matthews and McDavid drafts, these guys would have been vying for the #1 ovr in many a year. Subtract geopolitics, Michkov would have also.
I’m just hoping for a fun team that gets a top 5 pick so we could possibly end up with an Eklund, Celebrini, Smith, Musty, Hertl & Guschin as a top 6

Nice to hear that Musty is "even keel". That was definitely not a description I heard in pre-draft scouting reports.
Pulli seems like an interesting pick. I think we will start to have some good defense and defensive coverage in front of the net with him finally!
