Yeah I used to love tube welding, chill-rings were my fav, I alway had a few extra chill-rings so when the foreman did his end of shift count my team had a higher count pissed off everyone except mentor he loved it, taught me everything.
- Ken, are you really surprised by that? It's been hard enough over the last two decades to keep Boilermaker work in power plants prosperous enough to earn a deceit living between scheduled outages... Then, you have Boilermakers endorsing the very political party and, Presidential candidates that are absolutely committed to eradicate fossil fuels of oil and coal. And, judging by your comment that all the places you worked as a Boilermaker that are now torn down, sounds like their plan to put Boilermakers out of business is, working!
@@dominancesubmission every place my local worked is gone and they all were torn down during pos45's time in office. I don't think they want to do away with just boilermakers but, all "skilled tradesmen and their pensions healthcare as well as their hourly rate.

@KenSmith-bv4si I'm sure you know it's a 3 to 4 year process when decommissioning a coal fired power plant. Most all of the Power plants torned down in the last 10 years where scheduled under the Obama administration.
