    Michael Jordan was poetry in motion and I wished the younger generation could have lived through this era to really comprehend just how great Michael Jordan was as a basketball player. Nothing like being in the moment and Mike work some of his magic to win the game. Brothers I'm tell y'all Mike was smooth, creative and frankly speaking out of this world on the basketball court.

    • @wayneearl6573
      @wayneearl6573 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was badass no doubt but when it comes too Ewing. I really think Pippen's dunk on him in the 1994 Playoffs was sick!!! It was insane seeing Jordan just elevate and hang in the air like he did!! I'm truly blessed too have seen him play and grow up in that era!! Pippen was one hell of a dunker also not so much hang time but he sure as hell had some powerful dunks in his time also!! They were both unbelievable and played elite level on bothe ends of the floor!! You don't see that anymore really where players are elite level on offense and defense that's what makes MVP candidates in my book!!

      I was only 9 years old when the bulls won their 3rd championship in 1993... I remember that like it was yesterday and we will never see anyone else ever like MJ!! Kobe was the closest you could get and Kobe himself said everything you see me do on the court is FROM HIM!! RIP Black Mamba!!! Michael was so strong and quick and that unbelievable floating ability was unmatched!! Michael could literally dunk on everyone in that era so imagine what he would do nowadays with all the 6ft 8in- 6ft 10in centers!!! They would probably make Michael retire if he played in this soft ass era of the NBA!!! I love the game of basketball with a passion and I myself being about 6ft 5 in tall tried too be like Mike.. Michael Jordan is the fucking GOAT PERIOD!!! Anyone saying Lebron is clearly got dementia!! Look what that man accomplished in his era when defense was insanely physical!! He would fucking destroy everyone in the league.. put him in Lebron's draft class I fucking guarantee you Lebron doesn't have those championships with Miami or Cleveland!!! Jordan would've been there too send him packing everytime!!! There's no player in league today that can guard Michael even with hand check.. Kiwi Leonard would probably be the best challenge for MJ and he still drops 30 on him.. Lebron is a great player I have respect for his game but he doesn't have my respect for all that I'm the GOAT BULLSHIT!!! Notice Michael has never once done that shit why because true greats let their PEERS judge that!! Guess what Lebron some of your Miami Heat teammates even picked a prime Michael Jordan if a choice between you both was available!! Lebron doesn't even pass Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant because of that I'm THE GOAT nonsense!! If they played with Jordan era defense "hand check" allowed I'm pretty sure Scottie Pippen would give Lebron hell on defense!! Screw the size difference between them Scottie had 7ft wingspan and was so quick on the perimeter he's screwed!! Down low in post ok Dennis Rodman will handle that!! Ok I'm sure 99 percent of the real basketball fans out there agree with me... Jordan dunking on Ewing was always so awesome too see but the best dunk on Ewing has to be awarded too 33 Scottie Pippen!! 1994 Playoffs at Chicago that dunk on Ewing was fucking priceless!! Too this day in top 3 or 5 for most disrespectful insane dunks on opposition ever in history!! MJ and Pip would destroy this soft ass league today.. MJ 14 years in league including wizards years I think and accomplished a career like that!!! No comparison I rest my case sorry for this ridiculous book I wrote here!!! I have to speak the truth about a legend that I seen play since I can remember at 4 or 5 years old!! Off subject but feeling is same for baseball and I don't give a fuck about the steroids bullshit MLB should be bowing too McGwire and Sosa PERIOD!!! They fucking saved the game and that era was fucking awesome too witness!!! Steroids were in the game long before the so called Era!!! Before that players had Coke, Alcohol and Bitches so My opinion Major League Baseball should be black balled for being ungrateful bitches!! Thank you Michael Jordan for giving me the privilege of watching you play basketball and too Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa Thank you for the same privilege of watching you guys play baseball and saving the game with the home run race 1998!!! Sosa was my favorite player also I'm a true cubs fan I bleed Cubby Blue!! Best era of both sports in my opinion thank you for the memories!!!

    Jordan had the perfect body for a basketball player. From his height to his weight to just his overall build. And those damn big ass hands. I think hard defense is good, make the game more interesting. I believe it was harder to score in 80's and 90's than today. Hand checking to the back, for example, is disallowed today. Back then, that was how the defenders "controlled" the post-up players.

    Jordan had a huge wingspan and extremely large and powerful hands. This gave him a huge advantage at playing against smaller guards. Jordan played alot bigger than his height and weight would suggest. Throw in world class speed and leaping ability and you got one physically dominate specimen. But Jordan took that a step further with a huge basketball IQ and intense competitiveness. There will always be those physically as good or better than Jordan but it's gonna be a long time till we get someone with all of his gifts.

    #1 was always one of my favorites. It has everything, including the complete humiliation of Patrick Ewing.

    • @Cruzboy
      @Cruzboy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yep, always my favourite. Scotties dunk on Ewing where he kicks him out out of the way during the playoffs is up there as well.
      Poor Patrick, he seems like a nice bloke. lol

      I’ll give it to Patrick, tho. He and his Knicks never backed down and they were never intimidated

    What stood out to me was how many dunks were off steals...his defense and lightning quick hands were second to none....best defensive player ever.....there are a lot of scorers but who can do what he did.....the goat

    I think Jordan's biggest fan was Magic Johnson after Jordan beat the Lakers in the finals....Magic was always the most excited one when they played together on the Dream Team...if you go back and watch some of the games Magic ALWAYS made sure Jordan had the ball....

    • @Michael0429
      @Michael0429 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most definitely. Larry and Magic both knew that Mike was next in line to dominate

    Aesthetics have to count for something, and no matter how many Finals appearances or titles LeBron ends up with, his drive and kick bullshit will never compare to the grace MJ had. GOAT.

      You also forgot the patented Lebron flops and the 3's. If Lebron had more of that assassin mentality and played more to his strengths he would be in the conversation. For me the GOAT will always be MJ, God, and then Kobe

    The scary thing is that when he loads the jump it seems (and really is) that he’s using only 70/80% of his maximum potential...this completely separate him from all the other great dunkers and gives the flying motion a totally different level.... he is recognized as a vertical of 48 inch but he actually is a 50 or probably 52 inch vertical human being🤯
