If you haven't already, you should try reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles by CLAMP. They follow the same two main characters as Cardcaptors and include the Dimensional Witch from xxxHolic, but the story is more complicated and there's tons of twists as you get to the later parts of the series.
One of things I love the most about your channel is that you talk about every series, and not just synopsis or cookie cutter comment but more what your opinion is. And also give lot of attention to all genre+ demographic.
I'm so glad you said you preferred Fire Force over Soul Eater. I've tried so hard with Soul Eater and it doesn't quite click with me. On the other hand fire force had me straight away
Personally I love the cover art for Noragami, so I think I'm going to keep collecting those instead of switching to the omnibus release (which I have done for other series like most recently The Girl From the Other Side). Also appreciate adding anime and figure purchases with manga for these monthly hauls, they're always fun to see! I may not buy figures, but blu-rays yes - most recent additions/pre-orders being Heike Monogatari, Inu-oh, & Gunbuster. ETA - Man, can't believe you found some Umineko volumes. Would love for those to get reprinted since at this point, the actual Ushiromiya Gold is just owning that entire set lmao
Obviously I came here for manga talk, but figure collecting is a huge hobby of mine so seeing what you've been collecting there was extra exciting! The anime is interesting too, knowing you don't usually go for things that have been adapted from manga. The second hand market for figures is really great in my experience, especially if you're fine with little flaws and imperfections. If you did want to fix those glasses, loctite super glue is usually my go to for figure replays, it's easy to find in hobby stores, but that Vash honestly looks amazing either way. tbh, I agree with your point about the new Kodansha 3 in 1s they've been releasing (AOT, Noragami, etc) they're the most readable 3 in 1s I've tried out. I still think Dark Horse's releases for BOTI, Card Captor Sakura, etc 3 in 1 paperbacks holds the title for highest quality, however.
I am just so devastated by the ouran box set. Recently they were brought it back in stock with half the regular retail price!! I felt like tearing my hair out because I collected it by single volume ( mostly retail price) since the box set always seemed out of stock. If only I waited i could have got it so cheap and with the nice box+memo pad😭😭😭😭

Question for the fire force omnibuses. I dont know if there are any spread pages but of there are, do they line up because in the singles the pages are a little bit missaligned and cropped out a bit of the picture in the gutter

The only thing about those Noragami omnibuses is the material makes the shelf-wear appear practically instantly and quickly.
I have zero shelf wear on any of those three volumes as well as on any other book that uses that same material for its cover.
